    This was released in 2004, it will only really work with the original Maxis roads. I don't even think the NAM was around when this was released, let alone all the new toys included in the NAM. ***CHECK UPLOAD DATES BEFORE POSTING***.

    prefer the maxis ferry skin, but excellent job on the reskin. Looks a little too shiny though, maybe release a different reskin with a tad dirtier look?

    @farquhar92 The rating is low because the quality isn't there. It is getting better slowly (very very slowly) but does not have the quality of say SG trailer park or the rollerhomes bat/lot. And since it is a trailer park it should be lotted as R$ and growable, not in the parks menu.

    To say this is a decent lot means you have no eye for quality or you are trying to be nice and know its crap. There are other trailer park lots (and props) that can be used as a reference on the STEX. Search for rollerhomes for one of em. Best advice.. Stop wasting storage space on the STEX for incomplete lots. Start a thread to showcase your work and get help with it.

    Quick add on the grid. If you look at some of the pictures of how non-grid cities or rural areas are setup for a new SC5 or clone you could actually use a hex or octagon grid system to make lining things up much easier, though a hex grid would conform much better than an octal grid pattern. If any of you have played any wargames you know how many of the maps (if not all) use a hex grid for movement and placement of nearly everything. Going freeform while nice may not be practical on even current high end systems. The graphics cards could handle it but it would require a huge amount of floating point calculations to actually zone and grow a city, at least in some ways. If on the other hand you have the roads and zoning done as more of a paint application where you would draw your roads on the terrain then you could use a fill object to fill zoning around the roads. This leads to the prolem of not having much control of what grows where and possibly being limited to having few plop options. I may find the grid in SC4 clunky and irritating, but I owuld much rather have that than a lot less control on plops. As for a linux port, hell yeah! It wouldn't take much to convert it anyway especially is you build it around OpenAL and Opengl. Tempting.. Ok, somebody petition EA for the source to SC4 already lol

    Love the work on all the pda building but this one is gone for grow.. tired of having to delete 2x3 3x3 etc grows of this one.. plop only for now i guess :( If I ever get around to it I may release an update for this and several others i like that were only plops. May never happen though.. who knows

    there are actually tons of photos and information out there is u search hard enough. Even some of the major airports have information you can grab. I grabbed some detailed info on the Atalanta airport last year that has terminal setups and some runway images. Forget what else it had though...

    The building looks really good. The heli pad could use a little work and the work needs some major work, but an excellent bat. Find a good lot maker and stick to the bats and I think you can a lot of very good buildings.

    No moral police?? Well, i think that pushes the rating way down to a 1.. kidding. The BAT isn't bad for a first try, though the 2nd pic makes the building look kinda flat. Needs some work, but still a good effort.

    I can sell you a new computer for $350. P4 w/ 512mb ram. Only downside is onboard video. I run a computer shop and have a lot of parts/systems.

    a friend of mine owns a copy, tried registering on the site, and was never able to access anything. Not every legit user can get stuff off the ea site.. I had to dl the files for them so they could use stuff from the stex. I say, u want the files, provide prrof of owership. UPC, photocopy of front and back of cd case (including cd key). How many pirates can actually do that? lol
