Yep .. those all belong to CP's Victorian Era Houses. I use maxis blockers and assign all the Victorian houses to one building type so I can get them all together.

Well the issue is you would have to either a) turn off Automa or b) deal with the cars going through parked cars or c) new textures with a wider road surface to handle the parking. My regions have very little traffic due to my somewhat unique build style so I opted for option B in my current region ..

Max region size is tied to resolution .. so it might be worth to upload the whole thing so when 8k and further resolutions come along .. might be possible to open the entire thing.

SSL certificates wont work with HTTP .. thats why there is a HTTPS. Normally what happens is if you use the HTTP address it will auto forward you to the https. I've validated this is working as intended on sc4evermore, meaning for some reason your isp is blocking that redirect. To avoid the issue in the future, please directly use https://sc4evermore.com .

The South Region Fuel and Oil Terminal. Oil comes from local sources and is exported out to sea, while gas arrives by train to be used for local purposes. Also, a local port engine is picking up a pair of flatbed's on the tail track.

Its actually a property that prevents ferries from crashing into supports/piers and needs to be listed as part of the model exemplar. If the model does not have that .. then the bridge is valid for ferries to go under so long as it meets the +15m height (and let me add unfortunately due to a quirk / non-functioning properties the L1/L2 bridges available are treated the same as a L0/0m bridge for ferry height calculations).

This actually fits perfectly with a scenario where I suspected an overload in props caused pox in a city (that sc4 fixed). In my case .. I made a giant container port in lot editor (I think I created around 50-60 lots for the port), and did not hollow out the container stacks. I figured there might upwards of 10-15,000 container props in that port... combined with everything else in that large tile (although the tile is about half water atleast). Also ..yes .. that tile does take a while to load (althought I've seen load times go from 15 mins on skylake to 6 minutes on alder lake). Also .. this all reminds me I prolly forgot to hollow out the stacks for a much smaller container port in my current region.- 15 Replies

If the package is 64 bit now .. shouldnt it be installed in the Program Files folder .. and not the Program Files (x86) folder (idk if it really makes a difference..)?

I got a new laptop (a 1260p cpu and iris xe graphics..) .. and moved my SC4 install (both the entire program folder and the registry entries) to the new computer (something I've done 4-5 times since the digital version was released in the late 00's) I keep getting this CTD ... it at first was a instant CTD .. then I turned off the intro and now the CTD occurs upon loading a city tile (I get the two messages .. and then crash.. or it crashes during the first message) Exception time: 01/27/2023, at 13:29:58. Exception code: 0xC0000005 (-1073741819) ACCESS_VIOLATION. Current thread ID: 11460 (0x00002cc4). Version information: Application/module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps\SimCity 4.exe Application/module version name: SimCity 4 Application/module version: 1.1.641.0 System version: Windows NT 6.2 System memory: 4096 Megabytes total, 4096 Megabytes free. I've tried a fresh install of SC4 (I managed to locate the installer, both 4gb patched and not) I've run through every possible option dealing with audio.. and that didnt work (and do have it listed as off in command line). I've tried both with my wrapper and without it.. tried using all cores or just 1 .. and I still have not been able to get this to work. Verified my language settings are correct.. and also verified that sc4 is using this dll from the get go. Any other idea's to fix this before I try re-installing the c++ library (and if that doesnt work then a fresh install).

Finally got the game going last nite. Asus is once again installing there bloatware from UEFI during clean installs. After finally getting win 11 pro to install .. I did use the installer .. however the game had a a new error causing a crash during the start. I then moved my old Apps folder and overwrote the newly installed one .. and that got me into Software mode. To get into hardware mode .. I edited both the Graphic Rules (removing the intel shared memory rule and adding Iris Xe to the fast cards) and Video cards files. I then replaced the wrapper I was using with dgvoodoo .. and then using the launcher to force hardware mode got the game working fully, finally. The PCI-e 4.0 NVME's prolly make the biggest difference on loads I've seen in a while... laptop has a samsung 980 pro and my load times have drop by a bit over half. I had some city tiles take 12 minutes to load .. and now only take 5. Amazing.

k tried that .. tried doing the c++ install (as apparently it was not installed at all).. and also tried removing all the manufactures apps... and still it crashes. The only other thing of note I discovered is that config file sc4 leaves behind suggests the game cant find my audio drivers: soundDriverName = Unknown soundCardName = Unknown although that seems unlikely to cause the issue. Seems like a complete fresh install of win11 might be the next step..

hi ... use the avenue tool and draw out the avenue bridge. Within the Avenue Bridge menu there is a bridge for tram in avenue. -

So I was building a lot strictly in 2d view in PIM-x .. when finished I noticed the 3d preview did not match the 2d lay out: so loaded it in lot editor and ... same issue: This is only one out of 38 lots that are like this. I even tried removing the houses (as they are not needed) and still had the same issue. Is this fixable ? Or will I have to redo this lot (and be happy its the 1x1 with this issue .. and not the 24x1).

On the crossings issue .. for those of us that use Shiny Rail (and yes shiny rail is realistic...) Is it possible to process alphas where the guard rails remain rrw-rusty .. while the main rails get changed to shiny or something else ?
