Out of nowhere you come and fix the most annoying bug the game has. One I predict few people ever realistically thought could be fixed. Spent the day testing/playing and trying to get a CTD at every opportunity. Despite doing all the things you are not supposed to do, no CTDs. If you are wondering whether to install this or not? It's like the EP1 update or I-HT fix, everyone needs this. - Jan 2018 update - Well I can't sit idly by ignoring the latest updates to this amazing fix. For those with cities long since thought of as dead, killed by Prop Pox, this update can bring them back to life. Not to mention the side benefit of prevention too. ZombieSC4 saves back from the dead, you should have saved this for Halloween . In all seriousness though, your work on some fairly catastrophic shortcomings left in the game simply can not be understated. I'm sure your contributions will help to retain players who might otherwise, frustrated at loosing all their hard work, simply cease playing. That's really what makes this fix so special, thank you for all your hard work and amazing technical achievements.

Hi! Where are the dependency links? Please as I already explained last time, your provided readme is a good idea, but the list of dependencies is not quite sufficient. For example you listed this SM2 Heritage Roundhouse Timed Props.dat as a dependency, but you didn't list the SM2 Mega Prop Pack vol.1 which is essential for these timed props because it contains the models for the props. What is the origin of these props: RRSP_Props.dat prop_TinTower4-0x6534284a-0xd376fa31-0x74662035.SC4Desc And why this lot is a necessary dependency? NinjaBoulevardStation_ad9444e6.SC4Lot Please fix these things... I wouldn't spend hours to create your dependency list again... - Tyberius

I like the idea, we need more small airports in the game ( not everyone wants to spend hours placing down an airport piece by piece...) Though you could spend a little more time with the textures. They're very bright. if you need help you can open a thread on Simtropolis or SC4Devotion- you can aslo join simtropolis chat on discord for advice. you definitely have talent for the models, but as i said, textures need work. Please don't give up though, I'm not trying to say your work is bad, judging by the model detail on this and previous models you definitely have talent!

Now this is what I'm talking about. 'bout time we get some more futuristic towers in the game. This one is exquisite, a real beauty. This will be another of your works I've added to my plugins folder. Can't wait to see what it looks like in-game. Nice work Red, please, please keep this going. I really look forward to any new content you release.

Oh yeah! Instant 5/5! Man, I missed your buildings so much... How about your previously showed and never released WIP projects? Will they see once the light? Very nice looking building, thanks for sharing this! - Tyberius

Thank you for this, I'm glad to see my old content is still relevant! If you want, you can update this file *with* my bridge models included, this will make it easier for people to download this, as it will be zero dependencies, you have my permission for this.

I agree that this is really a very promising first model and you've made a good job of some of the details. It fits in pretty well amongst the original Maxis buildings, which is not as easy to do as some might think. The lotting is also acceptable, you've avoided the common pitfall of placing a tower on a concrete base. Instead we've some walkways/paths and flora, along with other details. You've forgotten to list the SFBT Essentials package as a dependency (textures). Also, I checked and the NAM isn't required to use this lot. You may find an application SC4 Tool useful, it has a Dependency Scanner that will help you identify which files you've used on your lots. Lastly, I see you've included two lots in the download, but I'm not entirely sure why, is one different somehow? I see both are landmarks? It's always helpful if you mention things like this in your upload description. So people will know exactly what to expect when they download your work. Is it a Growable, Ploppable building? How big is it (Lot Size), how many (if any) jobs it has and some other details. Again SC4 Tool can help you here, it has a function that collects this info for you, so you can simply copy/paste it however you want to use it. Please feel free to ask for help (even in Spanish) if you need help with any of this. You've also included a SC4Desc file, but actually these are only needed temporarily. When you add a building in the Lot Editor to make your lot, this file is embedded (included) in the new SC4Lot file. Ideally you should remove such files before distributing. Overall though, a fine first effort, thanks for sharing it with us all.

Your models aren't bad at all in fact - but they sure need some re-work, more attention to detail, maybe some more practice to blend well with most of sc4 original content, and custom content. You should start a BAT thread to get some advice before uploading, the community is nice and would give you some attention for sure.

Finally! After over 2 years of intense negotiating, at long last they agreed on suitable terms to be passed through parliament. This new law will not only bring major economic benefit to the entire Corillion region, but also any other mayors who follow this pioneering incentive. It's helping the environment, helping each other, and also allowing freedom of fine-tuning the bank balance to avoid another great financial crisis. Nice acronym too.

Well if you manage to get to 100 uploads, you might as well do something special. Usually I prefer to play with Seasonal Trees and I've put a lot of work into that endeavour. Of course you can't do a replacement of Maxis Trees with Seasonal ones, because changing from non-timed (RTK1) to timed (RTK4) props leads to Prop Pox. Right now I'm playing a simple region where I don't want to install a lot of fluff, but I still didn't want the Maxis trees ruining the view. This mod does the trick wonderfully. I've tried other such mods, which all worked in their own ways. But instantly upon opening a city with your mod installed, the difference is night and day. You've clearly been hugely selective and curated the trees to use for each replacement with great care. Everything fits properly and I'm thrilled you've used Girafe's and Orange's tree props too, they are among the best ever made. Thanks for sharing your hard work. This is surely the best mod of its kind IMHO.

They say pictures don't tell stories but movies do. That is completely nonsense. I saw many movies on TV they had no sense for storytelling at all, they were to dumb to tell anything. And I saw pictures, painted by Raffael, they told the history of the birth of philosophy. On Sc4 I'd always preached this - a good lot must tell a story. A story of abbandoned outskirts, a wall street story, stories about rise and decay. Doesn't need to be a sophisticated story, but at least to put some seasonal trees and telling the old story of the changing of seasons. The lots of Simmer2 are a perfect example of this art of telling stories ...history, the magic of the moment etc., the vanishing and overgrown tracks like lost trails through time, the changing of the times, rust like memories covering long forgotten things – all this with lots. I'd call this art. He is not only a batter but everything he does is done with this rare sense for atmosphere and tenson and proceedings. And that's the reason - believe it or not - why I can hear this song in my memories, when I look on this beautiful lot.

Too bad for then not being HD but I'll be frank : for me, a drab building in HD is still drab -- and some North-American or European buildings can be pretty drab. By contrast, I love these ones ' playful colours ! Also they're not too big.Now and then I'm getting a bit fed up of Big Towers, however impressively done, and lighted and HD-y they might be

Really nice prop set! Thank you very much! I'll be happy to use them on my industrial-theme lots. @Angry Mozart what is that "truck stop" lot on your 3rd and last attached picture? Could you provide a download link, or share that lot, if you made it? It looks awesome! Thanks in advance! - Tyberius

Good flashback from the past. Pity there are no nite lights, even close to the pumps. Looks shady. I wouldn't stop there at night !

While this is a nice start, I feel you are lacking quite a lot to distinguish this from the original. This also feels rushed. Where is the drive-thru lane with cars? Why are the parking spaces so far from each other? (on the right side) Why no parking lot lights? Why no detail (such as flowers, people, trash cans or tables) around the building? If you are pleased with this relot, then that's fine for personal use. However, if you are going to share it as you did, I feel you can do better. No offense, but I personally do not see where I would want this in my city as it is currently. Mess around with the textures and props longer and you might be surprised by how much better things can turn out. Don't rush yourself to complete a relot just to get it done. Things can come out better when you take your time.

As far as I know this is still under construction. You managed to make an amazing model without even knowing how the completed complex looks like in real life. Great job as always! Would love to see more Bogota or Colombian buildings, especially some residentials

For a lotter this is definitly something like this: to bath and swim and dive into props. Loading the whole package into PIM-X took very long and seemed a never ending row of freight cars was rumbling through the preview window. So thankfully the models weren't dat-packed but instead are organized by type and angle in folders and subfolders - so very easily you can make excerpts for your needs to work with. And definitly we'll have to make this a new standard for freight train yards and I'm pretty shure (may take some time) this will raise the level of realism of seaport and industrial zones etc. One has to see - there is a new task now for us all, to make use of the LE and become train yard lotters, to redo all the container yards etc. And I have to recommend to any new player in town - make use of the Lot Editor, Maxis provided to edit game content. You can double the fun and it's pretty easy. And so you'll see what this is: a toolbox to create whole new playgrounds. Also I couldn't load every piece into the game and my first impression comes from PIM-X , the quality of the props ranges from very good to stunningly great and the included pdf (chapter: loading the flat cars) shows that you even can add variety to the already giant variety of the car props. Can't imagine how to do better. Me, playing european cenarios, have to figure out now how those north american cars may fit (pretty shure many of them will). Ah, I see so much fun ahead puzzling them together and also with @Simmer2's well developed RRW textures. You opened the gates to the SC4-paradise. Thank you so much.

This is: Fantastic Perfect Magical Incredible Completely bonkers Wasn't this bug hardcoded? Are you a SC4 developer? I didn't think I would live to see this day All of the aforementioned Edit 21/01/2018: ok, all of those options were clearly an understatement, this little thing also CURES THE PROP POX!!! It's simply irrational...
