Lafayette is a city located at the edge of Topeka County. It has a distinct skyline that dwarfs that of the city of Topeka. The city itself is very desirable among affluent Sims who seek the high life, with its many department stores and palm tree graced boulevards. Real estate has seen a sore upwards unlike the rest of Topeka County due to two of the county's best prep schools in the surrounding areas. Neighborhood of "Vanessa's Peninsula"

Edmond was founded in 1879, it lies 5 miles south of Downtown Topeka. Its current population is 7,600 Sims with a Caucasian majority. The city's major source of income is tourism, as Edmond's old building attract many. 9 months ago, Topeka and the surrounding areas were devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that left many of the 19th Century buildings breached and condemned. Many local businesses shut down because of the lack of tourist industry in the area and consequently residents left the area.

Downtown Topeka may not be the biggest downtown in the country but its one of the most diverse, with buildings dating back to the late 1890s. Large multi-million dollar cell phone companies such as "Gannusi" and "Lexip" all began here, and the corporate headquarters for "Lexip" are still located within Topeka's boundaries.
