Hum, I'm from Tours. I know I've already say that. Tours, the most beautiful city in all the world. Actually, it's just my opinion.. but one thing which is true is that we have the world beautifulest tramway ! Write on your favorite search engine "Tramway of Tours" and you will this work of art !

About me .. hum.. so many thing to say, but I want to be short. I play to Cities XL since the first version (2009), I'm the creator of Biggest City the city which detain the world record of inhabitants on Cities XL 2009 (search on Youtube if you want to see the monstrosity). I've also made some other cities (view my YouTube Chanel for this, there are some video in english !). I have also played to Sim City 4... in 2007 before cities XL. I'm very enjoyed by the last Sim City, that's why I already play to Cities XL.

IRL, I'm a student in Tours in an engineer school. I'm fascinate by all the things witch are linked to cities, planning and architecture.

I'm an engineering student who has a passion for gaming. I suppose I began playing SimCity because I was looking for a game to play and stumbled across it. Now it's one of my favourites and I tend to play at least twice a week (when I'm not studying of course hehe). But none of my friends play it

Hello everyone,

 

well, I guess it is time to stop being shy and introduce myself to this wonderful community.

 

I am a French Canadian lady (which will explain my syntax/grammar at time!) I started playing Sim City 4 around March or April 2014 and I am finally attempting my first region.

I never played any Sim City before, so it is a large learning curve. I am a "nature scene" type of girl, so my cities will be very green with lots of trees and flowers (I am a girl after all lol).

I love old style building architecture, love to read (Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Marvel comics and of course, the occasional romance novel). I also enjoy playing games like WoW, Runes of Magic, Legends and Diablo, to name just a few..lol..As for movies, well anything goes..but I do prefer action and sci-fi and old kung-fu movies (you know, where they fly everywhere with the long robes and hair all over the place). Can't seem to get enough of Walking Dead and Games of Thrones.

 

Looking forward talking to you guys and if I can help in anyway, just let me know!

Hmm where to begin, I started playing Sim City back in 2010/2011 it was a troublesome time in my life and things didn't end the way I wanted. I was in a Dark place and Sim City really helped me get through that. I really like to build and create things, but feel people have a negative opinion about me so it makes it hard for me to share and have my work critiqued. I'm going back to school now to further my education, and learn a few new things since it's been a while. Besides that I like PC and console game, I love ramen, and my favorite color is blue. I like all kinds of architecture but my favorite has to be modern/contemporary. Thanks for having me everyone.

Welcome to the forum!! I'm sorry you had a troubled time, but happy that SC made it easier. Games are like that, making you concentrate on other stuff instead. I once heard a real story on tv about this doctor who had created a small game he was testing on a young patient treated for a leg injury, were they could'nt use anesthetics. Not exactly MarioKarts, but the kid later said he hardly felt the treatment nolonger, due to being so concentrated. 

 

I had to drop further education myself, being too exhausted to both physically and mentally. But I have the best work in the world, according to myself. After all, that's the only opinion that matters...   Moving to a new place, getting to know people who appreciate you (and for the right reasons). Thats when life really starts..

I'm not exactly new here, but I haven't been around for some time, to the point where I can look around and see a majority of people I don't know.  I am Nilo7, but many of you may know me as DCMetro34 or even B'more4.  To be honest, I have not really been active since last year or even since 2012, but I really hope to come back to the community and find it encouraging that I do see some old faces.

 

I've played SimCity 4, Cities XL, and SimCity 2013!  I have city journals featuring each game, I think.  I also used to upload to the STEX, and I had been focusing on automata recently, so if anyone has a request, let me know!

 

Yes, I do actually look like my avatar even though that's from Big Hero 6 (awesomeeee movieee!!), and I'm a Greek-American living in Baltimore, Maryland.  I like to write, take pictures, be a journalist for my college's newspaper, and play city games and hang out here!

My name's Michael and I live in the Philippines. I used to go here for the downloads. I attempted to create stuff in Gmax but stopped abruptly (my computer wasn't up to snuff and so was my output.) Several years later, and with a better computer, I'm back, hahaha. 

 

I think I'll always love making cities and buildings. It's a part of me that kinda stayed in the background because everybody in my family was kinda into it.  :kitty:
