Day%20icon2.jpg

I know it's a small picture -- but it's the only one I've ever seen.

Does anyone recognize the tall gray building at the bottom of the picture ??  The one with those lovely elevated conveyor systems !! ??

I REALLY -- REALLY -- want to find those conveyor systems SOMEWHERE (as props) so I can use them in re-lotting projects !!  (The whole lot might be nice as well !)

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Why not just PM @Simmer2? He has an account at ST, but is probably easier to get hold of on SC4D where he's active.

Just a guess, but knowing him, that's a custom lot of some kind.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Update:

The BAT is from Cockatoo:

Here is the file on SC4D - But it's locked (no download).

Perhaps it's still on ST somewhere? As for the model, it's all one piece, not separate parts too.

Yo, guy --

Thanks for tracking it down for me -- I do appreciate the thought.

ALL of the good ones are "baked" !!  Those elevated gantries and conveyors must be H***  to "bat" -- you rarely see them in a "prop".

Hello!

I am looking for a "jagged edges mod" that works for cliffs smaller than 15 meters

Also, do you know of a good set of retaining walls or embankments (or both) that looks good on a 7.5 meter elevation and has overhanging pieces for overpasses?. Right now I', using Jeronij's concrete retaining walls, but the overhangs only work with a 15 m elevation.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any content designed to work at 7.5m. It's a frustration I'm getting as more NAM content is moved to this height.

I also don't know of a DJEM for 7.5m, but that's pretty easy to adjust using the reader. Follow section 2 of this tutorial in the Omnibus to change it. The setting for 7.5m is listed, but be careful to read the disclaimer. Setting slopes this way may have unintended side effects, especially in mountainous/hilly regions.

:EDIT: Thinking about this a little, I think I might know of a way to create 7.5m overhangs, without resorting to BAT models. I.e. so existing textures can be referenced. I'll see what I can do here.

Common issue I and a lot of lotters run into. Sadly, some people won't take a little extra time to make custom LODs and keep things separated. Sometimes though, it would be very hard to line things up if you did.

@Belfastsocrates Thanks for digging that up :).

@Edvarz @rsc204

Neko Panchi's wall set can be used at 7.5m and because of the design of the models the overhang pieces work for 7.5m NAM pieces. The set can actually go a few meters higher than 15m and looks fine lower than 7.5m (although at some point it will look odd) just like texture-based retaining walls. The only limitations of the walls is that while the terrain at the bottom of the wall can change elevation just fine, the model-based design causes the walls to look odd if the terrain at the top of the walls changes elevation and that they do not fit well in industrial areas.

You'll need to scroll down some to get all of the parts of the set. There are 4 zips (NekoSlopeWall1-4.zip).

@rsc204 Thanks for the info! I'll look into that tutorial when I have enough time.

@MushyMushy Thanks! that set looks great and it's exactly what I needed.

I scrolled a bit through that japanese site and stumbled into this set of wall to walls (top of the page)

http://simcityedit.com/simedit/lev-bbs.cgi?bid=SC4=2-4&page=0

Do you know how or where I can get them?

Thanks again in advance!

That's a very useful find. Thanks for pointing me towards that, I thought I had all Neko-San's stuff... I am so behind :(

I might still have a go at something for MAS71's walls too. Basically much the same I'm thinking a properly orientated S3D prop will do the trick. If that works, I'll probably expand to 7.5m, 10m & 12.5m too, to add some flexibility.

Yo, guy --

If you do decide to work on the Mas71 walls -- please do a version with that good "Nob" concrete texture -- a nice wrought iron fence at the top -- remove the flower box planters from the top corner pieces -- and try to make them MMP friendly!! :thumb:

I'm looking for a building called TFI Photocopiers. It's a high-tech industrial building. There are two other buildings that look similar to this one but the colours are different. I found a dependency for it but I can't find the actual building models.

Reach for the stars - There will be only one version. It would be compatible with whatever was installed from the main set. I.e. it would work exactly like the original lots. You might need to copy and re-id one texture though. Trying to remove that step, but might not be possible.

@Yarahi Thanks, I have been looking for those buildings for months!, and I was not let down.

@rsc204 Great! I'll keep checking on that project's progress.

And now it's my time to be useful instead of just asking for things...

@P-0-l-u-X I believe you can find that building here.

You can use a cloverleaf semi - prefabricated piece that is in the end of the flex-ramps tab ring (which is L1 = 7.5 meters, and only clockwise in RHD), but since it includes a straight MIS piece, you'll have to demolish it before, CAREFULLY, all of this before putting the rest of the pieces of the interchange (so it all needs a lot of planification). By general rule, the NAM has not many curved ramps, by now.

@SS3K - Bear in mind I've changed the lot of that building so things like the statues and flowers will not appear in the original download.
