Here's another addition to my port warehouses. It's an approximate rendition of a building I saw on a model railroad site.

You may want to release this beauty before our beloved SImtropolis goes down again -although our new advanced server will massively improve performance:

The first half of the upcoming new pack of semidetached houses:

Some classic Georgian here and I really like those archways. I like the building on the upper left, is that Federal style?

Now that Simtropolis is back up, these will coming your way soon. The buildings will have exemplers for growables, ploppables and props. The container props are something I made years ago, but lost the models to HDD failure. I still have all the texture files so I decided to remake them in HD. I have approximately 200 different textures in 10ft, 20ft and 40ft, So this will be set 1.

Look at all that variety for one piece of detail! Wow. Could recreate the Port of Baltimore with all those containers!

Welcome back from the server downtime lol.

Anyone have strong opinions on these colors? (I guess I should also make some variations of the roof texture)

the wall colors look authentic and it would be nice to have some slightly varied roof rust patterns   thanks for your contributions

Thats pretty good tbh, the wall color of modern rural buildings in SEA varies within every color like pink, yellow, light yellow, green, light green, light blue, blue, cream, etc.

For the roof texture, are you used roof made from zinc in the picture? Thats pretty nice, only need some variations of zinc roof. But for other materials, you can use roof texture from clay and asbestos which easily found in low-wealth residential throughout Asia especially SEA/3rd world countries.

Everything is awesome, nice model and texture imo only need more variations of roof texture and wall color. It fits to low-wealth residental, rural, or Asia/SEA/3rd world countries theme. And I think it blends well with Wallibuk's too, which is even better news 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yes, roof textures are basically all zinc or tin. I decided to keep it simple because I can't yet figure out a way to model the sandbags (?) that are often on the roofs of the actual Kerala tea estate houses these are based on.

And thanks!

Ah yeah, I forgot the Kerala tea estate you mentioned earlier before modelling.

You can make the sandbags as part of the zinc roof texture maybe (?), so its become the part of the roof texture rathen than a "props". I think this is the simplest way to do it, I guess

Btw, cant wait to add them to my Plugin folder dude!🙌

When I'm in doubt, I just take a screenshot of any roof I really like and extrude the small details like pipes ducts, AC units etc by hand. Maybe you could do the same thing with sandbags, situationally?

Any chance you could tell me where you got the main residence for the royal family? It is absolutely beautiful.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !
