That 'Dubai Style' one over there gives me a salty taste on the mouth. Such a great texture work in all of them @AndisArt

Thanks! Which one do you see as Dubai style?

By the way...

I see you are working on a journal called Torquay.... do you have a Gleneagles there?   *

(As you say you do not speak English you may not know the reference, but if you ever get a chance to catch the show - you should - very funny)

All the signs in your roundabouts are pointing rightwards in an anti-clockwise direction because the traffic is driving on the right.

So with LHD (Left Hand Drive) the signs would be pointing left because the traffic is driving on the left.

That's what I mean!

Anyway... I've been working on the hills east of Cindersville's city centre. Here's the results so far!

1.aaVRYT.jpg

A bypass route up the hill to connect two different suburbs.

2.gexQAD.jpg

A close-up of the bypass route.

3.nd3UeE.jpg

And this is how the area fits into the rest of Cindersville!

Ah it means Left Hand Drive ok...

Well, yeah it would mean rendering twice but I could do that. Maybe to reduce work I can leave out the small signs where the arrows arent really visible and only change the ones with clear arrows. The small ones I mean the ones on the right side in my last update with batch nr 3. Do you agree they can stay and only the more obvious ones would need change?

Post the two versions separately.

One file will be RHD roundabouts and another LHD roundabouts. That way you can release the RHD roundabouts first and get around to LHD later.

My 2 Cents.

In that case- any roundabout model with a sign pointing right would thus need another model where the sign is point left.

Hopefully that answers your question!

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

I remember having seen @Jasoncw facing similar issues when rendering the Guardian, maybe is something about too detailed models?

In my most recent City Journal, Glenwood, I had a park that was inspired by Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, which connects Downtown to the northern and walkable neighborhoods. I find highways to be very divisive in urban settings and I thought this was a brilliant solution and easy (in theory) to replication. I know Houston and Los Angeles are already looking into making a similar park over their downtown freeways. I wanted to try this in one of my cities and I'm excited about the chance to share!

2016-RNR-KWP-Deck-Park-Before-After.jpg.e1b7bc0bc7f662f7240460547311eb4b.jpg5c7ae9a6679df_SimCity43_2_20191_53_37PM.png.340ef7605ba3da669537ec91370a95e0.png

Detroit is also looking into doing this over I-75 and I-375 as they really break up downtown and mess up the flow and walk-ability. That and they are rather unsightly.
