Anyone got any ideas on how to make this a workable interchange with sc4's limitations?

I had to share the pictures. The size of the construction site of 16x4 was just too big for my screen.

It looks great to me. Shallow subway is a new word in SC4!!!

That's brilliant !!!

Amazing! And not done before as far as I know. So a very welcome addition.

Interesting design, a lot of close height transition in there that wouldn't be possible so there'll be a fair bit of difference in the placement of ramp.

Anyhow a quick stab at it

Np glad to be of help *:)

Some of those lvl 1 ramps I used can be placed on the ground instead where you can smooth them out some more by using wider curves or fractional angles though it'll make the interchange larger all depends on the look your going for.

I'm wanting to place this interchange close to the cbd... I got inspired by the 30/35E interchange in dallas

There is a very similar interchange to this near downtown St. Louis in Illinois.  It handles Interstates 64 and 55.  At one point it also carried Interstate 70 until a new crossing was constructed between Illinois and Missouri.

Here in the Metro East they use collector distributor lanes to facilitate the transfers between the various exits and entrances.  This way all lanes eventually lead into Downtown St. Louis (provided you're heading West) even if you get off the main line.  You could use a similar set up with separate, but thru exit and entrance ramps.  That could help space things out a bit maybe, admittedly I don't use the NAM highways all that much lol.

If any of you want these models to export them to SimCity 4 just send me a private message. (Free)

I don't know how to do this but I sure hope someone takes you up on this because I see some very nice looking buildings in there!

The new large cargo freighter pulls proudly past the much smaller, old freighters in the harbor.

Another first!! At least I don't think I have ever seen these in game.

SM2 GLR Spurs Vol1 Link

Drop along side a GLR track to simulate temporary parking for trams and the likes. Plop them close together to create mini depots. Use your imagination!!

GLR Tram lenght may as shown may have difficulty to make those thight 90dgr curves. Extended 45 dgr GLR plopable pair may do. Maintenance a parallel rollbar or crane ? Avenio got trams with up to six smaller unit´s for thight turns; instead of on the end connecting a unit wheels are in the middle of the tram unit, different there´s no friction as axis wheels are free of each other !

@kschmidt Here's the explanations to what I'm doing:

Terrain mods in use:

* Berner Oberland, including these sub-components: terrain, snowcapped mountains, beaches, rocks, sunlight and grass texture replacement

https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2834

* CPT Meadowshire River Tree Mod

https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=59

For the reservoirs:

* PEG Pond Kit Deluxe Edition, for the water bodies

* Jenx's Poseidon Water Effects Waterfalls, for both the natural waterfalls and the reservoir discharge

https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=3077

* Slope-conforming concrete park filler lots from the Melbourne Central tower,

* SM2 Stones Vol. 1, for the grouting along the contact line between the dam and the valley's bedrock

These other components I'm now listing have yet to be used for these reservoirs, but will be used later:

* Nexis Mega Generator (the only hydropower system I find both scalable and compact, I use these as the turbine-generator assemblies of my larger reservoirs)

* SM2 Aqueduct (only aqueduct suitable for rough terrain due to diagonals and viaducts)

* Substation pack
