@Kloudkicker looks awesome; looking forward to release!

Rounding out the second stadium village pack by sending our soccer, er, football fans some love.  I don't think I've ever seen a soccer themed diner in real life, but I'm sure one exists ... maybe?

Some more work to be used with the new electrical mod that's coming. Or they can be used separately. NEWstuff.jpg.1708df2b732d9c07aa63023ea8c942c8.jpgThere's a new industrial giant working on moving into your region called Kloudkicker Industries. The first in the line up is the Wind Turbine Maintenance Division.

Also there will be a line of small transformer lots for residential, commercial and industry areas around your city. As of now there are 33 in total in five groups. All groups are 1x1 except one at 1x2. Pictured above is one lot from each group. (Had to circle them so you can find them. *:D)

And there is another relot of a transformer substation that got a modern upgrade and this time the wires are not facing the road where the hook up was needed.

Hopefully it won't be too long.

Kloudkicker

I could make you some turbine components for your WTG maintenance service provider, if you are interested.

Use MMPs to create the track! There's some tarmac textures on the bsc LEX, though someone may need to create race track marking MMP textures! Or some kind of modular track.

@mitsos I can export some cars but MMPs cannot be put on the roads. :(

You could make overhanging models and plop the lots on the sides, or make lots with the road textures and the cars as props over them.

Another option, even if a bit more complicated, is to use a traffic generator lot, but I think those don't differentiate between the kinds of automatas they spawn.

Please, that would be awesome. We can still use them in pits or some other events. If you don't mind please export them. Though there is a lack of modern grandstands. i think that they can make a difference.

@rsc204 That's more than good enough for me, at least, even if I would be glad if someone else were motivated to go on and try adding lights to ramps, curves and the rest. Maybe something akin to what @Eggman121 is doing with the rail catenaries might work?

I won't be able to include them in that building, the file was handed over already. But for future projects, that would be mighty nice.  I know I can put them to good use if you made them. I would love to have both styles from you and Simmer2 available for building in my cities and to make lots with. So please, will you make. *:ohyes:

The problem there is, when you simply look at the staggering number of pieces (10,000 upwards perhaps), and thus T21s to make, it's a huge undertaking in reality. Which probably explains why no one really tries such. I think the best you can do is use Plop Lots for the special cases, the T21s just do the heavy lifting. Adding diagonal support would be way less of a problem though, no promises there.

One other thing worthy of note, since highways don't carry power, for these to light up you probably need to "zone" them, as I did in the screenshots.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

You can always run a power line parallel, on the same right of way. We do that a lot here with power an rail lines, which has proved a bad decision now that we are trying to expand the railways. Luckily in SC4 one doesn't care that much about bulldozing and paying for extra work.

This would be a main bearing assembly of a wind turbine. The polished shaft end is connected to the low speed shaft of the gearbox with a shrink disc and the wide end with the half moon discs is going to be connected to the hub holding up the whole rotor star. The blue rings carry the first and second main bearing. The bearing houeses have feet that are mounted on the main frame.

This component assembly may need changing if a bearing has a damage. Companies like yours should have one in their yard as a spare part.

G3_Drive_train_and_bebplate_assy-500x292

I will make gear boxes, bearing and generators as well...

I am pretty sure I "heard" rumors of another company  writing up plans for an even bigger operation. If I heard right, it might not be too long before we here something official announced. You may see something on the news about, who knows?

Gear Box for wind turbine with 2 planetary stages and one spur gear stage (ca 2-3MW). The side with the big low speed shaft is connected to the mainshaft seen above. The high speed shaft side drives the generator. Manufacturers like winergy, Eickhoff and Lohman & Stolterfoht produce these:

Also an important sparepart for your company @Kloudkicker

So I'm thinking, wouldn't it be better, to only have barriers, unless the RHW is zoned?

IMO, having lighting only on zoned areas is the most sensible option, and what I've seen the most IRL: away from urbanised areas and aside interchanges, highways have no lights and are only lighted by the cars themselves. Interchanges have lights obviously, because it would be crazy dangerous to not do it that way (but I get why you aren't doing it here).

the sneaky thing I've done here.

My guess is that you moved the light cones up and down to get to both decks, and then off-centered the lower one to the side (even more than normal) to make it more evident on the lower deck. But I've barely used the double decker as to recognise much more, so...

It was brought to the attention of the staff that the following mod doesn't really work anymore:

This is because it was made before the P57 re-spec, which altered the RHW ID Scheme. Anyhow, I figured I'd finally actually check out how hard converting it to the new system would be, the answer was, not overly:

602eab025ffb8_LightsBarriers_Day.jpg.587891896a7e5654f69b310c7d7c6d9f.jpg

Of course you'll want the obligatory night-shot, with Mandelsoft's LRM overrides, although this isn't necessary:

602eab067358a_LightsBarriers_Nite.jpg.5fdace16a4daa619d6b61363c4fee4ad.jpg

I've since added the MiS and RHW-3 networks, lights only, pattern matching RHW-2 above. I'm also working on the L1 RHW-4 and DDRHW networks, in theory elevated is mostly a copy/paste operation to add.

One small issue, the pesky RHW-6S means ideally that network needs custom overhanging props, I'm working on improving that.

RHW-6S_OverhangIssue.jpg.739275c251155c5d2ca4cab164fe6d8e.jpg

At this point, the mod is no longer a modification or update, I've pretty much just taken the inspiration and applied it to a new set of T21s. However, I'm not personally into this sort of mod, since it only covers Ortho Standard pieces, it'll have no way of transitioning nicely to Ramps, Curves and a myriad of other RHW pieces. In short, I got into this randomly, I like tinkering and fixing stuff, but I'm not sufficiently motivated to go far beyond these basic ortho pieces.

I've always longing for this mod,  it would be a great contribution to the RHW user if you can transfer it to mod.  Sincerely hope that it can come out. Much thanks to you. 😂

Perhaps with the exception of Belgium, who used to have lights on all their motorways 24/7 and I can attest, it’s just safer. Sadly the financial crisis put pay to that, figuring a few lives saved were not worth the cost.

Very close, I’ve stuck light cones under the upper deck, to light the lower deck. Although it’s much more obvious if you remove the upper lights (I've since doubled the number of lights):

Every storied franchise recognizes in perpetuity the players, coaches, announcers and yes, even fans sometimes who made championships happen and performed at a high level for their entire careers.  They are enshrined in a Hall of Fame.

More details to add especially on doors and windows, but coming soon to Stadium Village....

In Italy, and especially in Germany, they are spaces dedicated to the parking of campers. They are often found in big cities but also in small towns.
During my RV trips, I miss them; for example when I had to go to Sweden and Finland, starting from Italy, I would select some area in Germany, in some small town so you would visit the urban center and stop to sleep.

Areas from 7 euros or 5 with electrical connection. You could also decide to stop for a few hours just for the visit
