Rocking! I've always wanted good low and low-mid-density stuff to cover some of those weird lot sizes (5x6, 4x5, 6x7) and this really hits the spot. Can't wait to download!

I always wondered about doing something like this. The stuff I came up with was always wildly impractical (e.g., small, self-contained neighbourhoods with winding streets + the Cottages Ornee angled homes). This is such a neat and elegant way of achieving a similar feeling. Love the corner yards at the very ends of the street. The lots look fantastic when grown together, and the fact that the lots are small enough that you can still arrange these neighborhoods flexibly is a great feature.

Finishing my Project1. The habituated areas are completed. But, the left and right section of the region aren't filled with trees yet. If it goes well, I can release the region tomorrow.

Would it be very hard to make a version with maxis low-density houses (with perhaps the two angled houses at the end being the exception, since relotting a rotated maxis house is just extra busywork - though since it's all one lot those assets might already have to  be extracted anyway)?

There's no extracting that needs to be done if you want to make a similar lot using Maxis houses. You just need the "SimCity 4 Buildings as Props" and/or "Rush Hour Buildings as Props" files found on this page: https://community.simtropolis.com/sc4-maxis-files/

That said, there would be no way to include angled versions of the Maxis houses. Even if you extract the models, they aren't true 3D models, so it's impossible to rotate them at that angle.

(Sorry if I misunderstood your question, by the way. I might be telling you stuff that you already know.)

I also have that volume and I can improve the color and add more sizes and rotations.  Is there a problem if I make my own version?

I don't think it's a problem, since you would make a different set from those source materials and not from the set what is uploaded onto STEX. So please go ahead and let them coming! :)

The cars drive around the cul de sac correctly:

With just these three growable lots and the NAM wide curves, you can start to get huge areas of boring suburbia really quickly:

WOW!

Just realised you could have a diagonal version but without the TE-ing. As long as the street texture overlaps it would "join" up with the road. Though it would have to be overhanging lot and probably a hell of a lot of work modelling textures instead.

But very cool- this will be used at some point!

Looks very nice and useful.  Do you know if the sidewalks will adapt to custom sidewalk textures?
