In most of my images, there is a lot of green space, and I have often been asked if I wouldn't mind releasing it.

It is made up of prop families, so a little 1x1 park lot will almost never give repetition when plopped.

It's great on its own as a filler, or it is good as an expansion to the ever-popular sfbt park set, for simulating the wilder, less manicured areas in large city parks.

At midnight on February 13, a major earthquake struck Fukushima and Miyagi in Japan.
The town where I live was also hit by a huge tremor with a seismic intensity of just under 6 on the Japanese scale.
Unfortunately, I was not at home, so I was worried about my computer.
My PC withstood the tremor well.
But my computer survived the quake, and thanks to it, my sc4 data is still alive and well.
I'll be able to show you some more pictures of my work in progress in a little while.
I confirmed via Twitter that Gobanboshi, the creator of the BAT, is also safe. He lives in Miyagi.

Luckily there is nothing wrong with my family and my house.
Japan is an earthquake-prone country, so the house is set up to be earthquake-proof.
The main thing I was worried about was that the hard drive would get corrupted due to power outages, but my town didn't experience any power outages, so it was fine.

Real life has kept me busy for the past few months and I haven't had much time for modding or playing the game. Not sure where that leaves the projects I was working on, but in the meantime, I'm getting back to some plain old lotting.

 

Some stage 1 dirty industry lots intended to match up with the Chicago tileset. Two anchor lots and a mix of mech and outbuilding lots.

Not sure if there's a better solution to the textures than the mottled dirt/grass combo. I want the mech and outbuilding lots to mesh well with the anchor lots, so that doesn't leave a lot of choices.

(Thanks to @Girafe for making prop versions of his bushes and oak trees, both of which I've been using on this set.)

Couldn't neglect this for Stadium Village Pack 2 - a building with rooftop bleacher seating inspired by those in Wrigleyville (Chicago), although it is not supposed to be replica of any particular one.  Plop this where there is a view and a chance to catch a monster home run and make your Sims happy.

This was the region of Penthesili. A big region of 10x10  large square tiles. I was thinking that maybe is time for more space. So i added a new map 25x25 of large tiles. That's making 625 large tiles. 525 new tiles.

So I went a step further and upgraded my XR 88 locomotive model. Added scramjets, more plating and night lights. I also made it longer. Paging @Terring

I might make automata out of the locomotive and railcars. Keep in mind that this is a science fiction concept, obviously.

Infusion of Stadium Village and its rooftop bleacher seats are in game - for now.  I'll probably re-export with some small flood lights added to the roof (the props weren't working too well). 

Related: does anyone know how to get a prop, in this case fans, to show up "within" the model?  They disappear too far away from the seats ... but there are players in the Maxis minor league stadium so there must be a way?

The best way to get them in the stands is to have a game playing and provide food and drinks. The problem is, there is no game being played. Look, empty field. Come on Rockie!
