Fixed up the RHW-6S using special overhanging Props:

One issue, for this to work I need to define the linked models in an edited exemplar. I believe the way LRM is setup, a unique such exemplar will be needed for each LRM option. For certain the UK / DE sets need to link to a different LightCone which if you switch leaves brown boxes.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Maybe a patch for a couple of LRM sets, and then trusting that anyone else interested in the mod would replicate it for other sets, the USL or previous versions?

I want to give this one proper nightlighting! Any good/quick tutorials? I'm very new to the BAT program... I only really know how to export. Thanks

You mean none of your gridbusters have nitelites ? OMG. I DLed them on faith, despite the absence of a nite picture... Some would be easy enough to modify I guess, if props can be plopped on them, but buildings... Please O  please, try to learn how to put nitelites in buildings ? Many of us play nights and having dark holes in nite pictures is kinda distressing...*:)

This is why I've hesitated to release many of them! Slowly but surely I'm getting there but I'll need to optimize the lighting process within my models first. There have been a few unexpected technical limitations (including LOD issues) that have held these up.

But yeah basically nightlighting has been 50% of my mental energy lately. (see below for a mishap)

looking bright indeed :(

I know a lot of creators find night lighting a pain, and it's not something everyone uses. So I wouldn't want @Sloppyjoemess to feel like he needs to add them in. I think it's a similar issue to seasonal flora. It's important to some players, unimportant to others, and creators get to choose which type of flora they prefer.

That said, it might be nice to add a little note to previous files just to let people know they don't have night lighting? I know that's something WolfZe used to do, and it was something I appreciated.

Agreed...... A disclaimer would, indeed, be appropriate.  *:thumb:

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

To be fair, he says in the file description that they have no nightlighting, but it's easy to miss if one is skimming the file page.

I'm The Mayor for heavens sake. I shouldn't have to put up with this attitude from my sims, who should resume their previous behavior of idolatrous statue building and worshiping my image

@MissVanleider You could always tell them this: “Hey, ungrateful Sim, that’s a nice Victorian house you have there.  Be a shame if an alien attacked it or a volcano erupted in your basement.”

Starting again from scratch on the The Old City Times building, the skyscraper model that I lost in the Great GMAX Crash of 2021, intended to be home to a regional newspaper ... yes, those things we used to read when we took a break from fleeing dinosaurs or inventing the wheel.
