Hi everyone!

Well, during the last two weeks I was restarting two of my most developed cities due to some technical difficulties. Well I still have the original cities and at least one of them can be finished if I'm carefull, but I keep both of them for further investigation and testing. 

Well, I redesigned the region, and both cities will have a more or less new transportation network layout, there will be similiarities still...

Noir City - North Harbour 2.0

1. Main Headstation/Terminus, one of the El-Rail Terminuses of the city, and the first attempt to use the El-Rail Over RD-4 feature from NAM. It's maybe not so realistic, but I like the results.  The HSR Termini will be relotted (sadly the HSR tracks are part of the modell and I can't get the rid of them, I rather not to use this station, but this is the only HSR Terminius what I could find over at the exchanges - if someone knows about other HSR Terminuses, please let me know), the parking lots all TE'd and I quite don't like it, so I stucked with this model and I hope someone eventually (Hello, @mattb325 ) will make one or more other HSR Terminus and I can replace this one. It would be such a nice building if Tonkso had not modelled that HSR tracks with that ugly switch... Anyway, there is a little interchange over there too...

2. Other angle about the main station area, this is the first time I've ever used the HSR/monorail system. The main station is more or less at the same place as in the "original" city.

The building, in itself, is a work of art -- impressive architecture -- and well done.

BUT -- the four horse chariot on the pediment is an absolute stroke of genius !

You might give some thought to releasing the sculpture as a separate statue for the game.

Yo, guys --

After long and costly planning studies -- it was decided by the college board that renovations were in order.  Our simple little community college needed something to make us stand out in the competitive world of education.

The Kerrytown building was jacked up and moved to the south and the "UNAM Rectoria" building was built in it's place.  The UNAM Library building was constructed on the west side of the campus to enhance our Research and Foreign Studies departments, and a new student "Quad" was laid out to add that sense of "community".  Two more parking lots were also added to ease the traffic congestion. 

Then we got smart and cut a multi-million dollar deal with "Mickey D's" for an on-campus burger joint to pay for all this furniture rearranging.

THANX  to @kschmidt for getting the proper name out there for the VHS Cologne building.  I downloaded it many years ago and have messed about with it until I couldn't actually remember the proper name.  Plus -- I have always been terrible about getting the "attributions" correct.

refresh my memory : did you include dormitories ? Is there a building in there that is one ? (I'm thinking of the monstrous --by our standard-- campus of Laval University in Québec-City, which is almost a not so small town in itself)

In a word -- no.

Most community colleges in the US usually rent housing at reduced rates in the surrounding neighborhoods if students require accommodation.  Saves a lot of cash.

After several do-overs and 336 textures later, I think I'm finally satisfied with what I can do with my park paths.

These orthogonal buggers come in two variants, side-aligned and middle-aligned. There's a host of junctions that allow proper inter-connectivity between the two.

Diagonals are also highly flexible, and their junction pieces are also not limited to your standard 3/4 way T bone or crossing. There are 5-8 way junctions that mix with standard orthogonals in both straight and circular formats.

FA2 turns it up a notch. Lots and lots of weaving options are available and there is strong inter-connectivity between itself and diagonal/orthogonal pieces.

But wait, there's more! 

Wide paths is exactly what it says on the tin. There's some basic connectivity with all the variants (ortho/diag/FA) but it's otherwise pretty limited in scope.

I spent too much time on these. What started out as a simple set of S-curves for the two orthogonal variants ended up as this monstrosity; a smorgasbord of branching and merging options. You can merge two S-curves together in a plethora of ways, while also being able to smash a FA or diagonal intersection in there.

To top it off, I did pretty much the exact same with wide radius curves. Yes, you can have tangent FA2 lines to your circle of circles. And intersection of circles... within circles. X_x

Keeping up with how I usually do texture releases, I'll be putting out a repository of these for easy sidewalk replacement with GoFSH.
