  1. Struggling to get this program working so I can use CAM. I am a totally newbie and don't know anything really about modding besides following instructions. This is the message I get: See the logfile 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SC4DatPacker2008\SC4DatPacker.exe.log' for details I have already copied and pasted the 3 DLLs to my C:\Windows\System subfolder.

    Can anyone help me with this issue still?
  5. I'm asking for a couple reasons: 1. Do you need to open a new city in an empty water tile in order for transportation to move through the tile to the next landmass? 2. Is there any other point in creating a city in an empty water tile or is it best/make more sense to just leave it empty?
  6. Having an issue with RHW where if I drag a highway over a mountain/hill and have it create a tunnel it'll place the road but the tunnel entrance will show as an empty box. Is this a common issue/does anyone have any advice for how to fix this?

    Question: Is there a preferred mod that people use for seasonal effects in the game? What would be the best "seasons" mod? I've seen snow on mountains and other things like that before, I would like full blown seasons.

  14. Thanks for the info =] I'll definitely be getting those. One more question: Do those mods (Underwater Ferry Connectors) allow it so you do not need land mass or anything for the empty tiles? And for creative purposes, would you recommend just using the same Mayor name from the adjacent city where a ferry may be travelling from? Thank you! =]

  16. Hello everyone, just returned to SimCity 4 yesterday. Got Deluxe version on steam. I'm trying to figure out how to start modding the game and getting NAM up and running but having a really tough time. Also making a first post so I can use the discord. Cheers! Excited to be playing this great game again.
  17. Thanks for the welcome everyone! Appreciate it! I'm looking to MOD out a ton of stuff. I just got NAM set up and the traffic simulator. Also got SC4 fix working well. Playing on steam. Was wondering if there are any mods for education and school just cause it seems wrong that a population of like 20K people would only have a few hundred kids in a school although maybe I'm doing something wrong.
