A DIY dump. Located in a declining neighborhood in the City of Dorsey. The borough began seizing condemned buildings from absentee landlords and tearing them down, but this only created opportunities for illegal dumping to flourish on these now vacant lots.

Please help find these files...in my plugins folders. I've edited the housing stock for this particular part of my region and these are now growing everywhere. I am assuming this is a CP creation, so for this particular region I've removed every bit of CP housing I can find. This one house is the only one still popping up. My thought was that it could be a dependency for something civic, school, police or fire related. Any idea what this file name could be called? Actually now that I look at it longer it could be a mattb325 creation. I'll check that next. Thanks in advance for your time.

CTD triggered by zooming, rotating, and scrolling
nickvon posted a topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Experiencing CTDs when scrolling, zooming, and rotating. OS is windows 10, NAM 43. Recently experienced a rash of CTDs and switched to Steam based copy from GOG. Messed around with a messy plugins folder and may have fixed the problem but created a new one. Anyway, I feel like this problem has been presented by users before me, any common fixes for this? Thanks in advance for your time. -

Need Help: Game Crashing When Playing a City
nickvon replied to sevithethird's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
I've been experiencing mid game CTD's now for two weeks because I was tinkering with my plugins folder. Been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what the problem is. CTD's are following me to a brand new region too.- 12 Replies

A question of tilesets and potential corruption?
nickvon posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
So I have a question about editing tilesets and avoiding corruption. I've made a separate folder of new housing content to grow in a city tile. It's all been edited to mid density and euro tileset only. When implementing new housing choices into my city and growing a new neighborhood, I've noticed that some old style housing is popping up. This is due to my old housing never having been edited to remove the euro housing option. In an effort to move forward with the original plan, I was thinking about re-editing the old housing to be used in only three of the four used tilesets and exluding the euro tileset. Now my question is if I were to do that could that possibly cause technical problems with my city? I could see a potential problem being that the housing that originally was grown on a euro tile set, having that option taken away could possibly corrupt things? I have no idea, would this work? -

How do I open up the TSCT and reconfigure things? And then how do I implement the changes that I've made into whichever city tile/region I run the game in? For example, when installing NAM 40 I am asked what level of traffic I want to play with. How do I open up the tool and play around with things? Thanks for your time.

Thanks everyone. Couldnt find the JAR file and searched my computer to realize that I didn't have it. Because I deleted the NAM setup folder once I installed NAM. It is only contained in the setup folder not in the actual plugins folder. Now when I open up the TSCT I get this message: How would I navigate making any changes in the TSCT to impact the game?

Very exciting. Great work. Can't wait for release... Housing packs that can make a whole neighborhood are very far and few between.

I really like that church, the long lot with the cemetery. Would you be able to share where it came from?

NAM Traffic Simulator and Data View Support Thread
nickvon replied to z1's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
I think this is the right thread. I have just downloaded NAM40. I am curious if there is a way to affect how far sims are willing to walk to get to a transit station to get to work. Is the TSCT the way to do this? If so, how do I start with opening it up and implementing changes into the game? Thanks for your time.- 334 Replies

Looking for a different el rail look. Blankness underneath the existing draggable el rail is incredibly bland to me. I know there exists a mod from "moonlight" or "moonlinght". Anyone have a download link or can send me the file? Any other ideas come to mind from other creators? Thanks.

Thanks! I think this worked. Interesting to think that just a counter to air pollution can have such a large effect.

I'm graduating from editing simple stats having to do with buildings and trying to move onto a new challenge. https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2854 These are ashes from Girafe and while the look very nice, I'd rather that they have no affect at all on their surroundings. If I were to begin exemplar editing this dat file in SC4TOOL, where would I find the correct parts to mess with? Thanks for your time.
