    Ummm, the demo for CXL. First impressions don't really rate for me. Sad to see MC has released this demo is an unfinished state. Personally I would have like to see a release of SC5 with all the content us players (and every forum) have been wanting. Will I be buying CXL. No. Love the graphics and the curving roads though (if only this could be merged into SC)

    Maxis Content Block - I've searched high and low and can not locate this mod that enables you to block all (or portions) of MAxis Content. I have used it before and want to use it on my new city, sadly can not locate although I've searched for this with many name variations. Can anyone help and put me out of my misery? Cheers

    Heya, If someone could help with my version of Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and/or planes in Thai Airlines livery. I'm doing a real city CJ based on Bangkok (a city I spend much time in and love and know quite intimately). My progression with my virtual Bangkok is coming along nicely, but sadly I've tried to fashion a realistic terminal for Suvarnabhumi but it just doesn't stack up to the real thing. I really want to release my CJ on Simtrop but really want to perfect the airport first. I'd really appreciate any assistance (or guidance to aircraft in Thai scheme that I may have missed somewhere). Cheers in advance.

    The HK Bat Team are so fortunate to have someone like you Bixel on their side. Your attention to detail is amazing....if I could only have the skills to create such masterpieces. It's because of people like yourself that I contiue to play this game, so once again thank you for sharing the result of what must amount to an incredible number of hours in front of your PC. But if you have time, feel free to deliver another gem.

    This building is so neat, that i'm just going to have to use it (despite the fact that the governing bodies controling my CJ have imposed strict height restrictions in order to preserve the old streetscape - some corrupt official is sure to accept a large bribe in order to get building approval). If only i could create such gems as this.

    Apart from the houses being brilliant with great attention to detail, I also applaud your command of the written English language - so nice to be able to read a description with perfect spelling and grammar - a rarity on simtropolis(non English speaking Simmers excused naturally).

    Nice work, however agree with others that a better shot is needed. And...while we're at it, a description of the buildings functions would also prove useful ie jobs contained, footprint size, cost.

  24. In your opinion, Melbourne or Sydney?

    I've had the benefit of living in both Sydney and Melbourne, and it's really interesting to see you OS (overseas) guys naming Sydney as the more prominent city due to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, when in actual fact Melbourne by far is the more progressive city (architecturally speaking). Check out works by Nonda Kotsalitis or Kerstin Thompson. They seem to built for permanance in Melbourne, where parts of Sydney have suffered from a few whack em up and cut the corners type of architecture (ala Meriton). But in terms of fun, weather an lifestyle, Sydney wins hands down (sorry southerners).
