Introduction / Overview
This building belongs to the Pacific Place Complex in Hong Kong (China). Pacific Place is a huge complex composed of five main buildings: Island Shangri-La Hotel, Conrad International Hotel, 3 Pacific Place, J.W. Marriott Hotel, and 1 Pacific Place. Most of the buildings mainly house hotels, but there are also apartments, offices and a huge shopping center inside the real-world complex.
Pacific Place was built in three phases. J.W. Marriott and One Pacific Place were erected in the first phase of construction (1988), Conrad and Shangri-La Hotel in the second (1991), and 3 Pacific Place in the third (2004).
One Pacific Place is the lowest building of the complex; it tops out at 162 m (531 ft) and offers 40 storeys of office space.
Due to the relative lack of CO$$ BATs and since the rather simple shape and appearance of 1 PP prevent it from looking too flashy for this category, it has been modded as CO$$ (medium-wealth commercial office).
