  1. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

That looks like a great Port. Port of Astoria (Oregon) doesn't look nearly that nice.
  2. Vancouver, BC - Not a Recreation

I'd get another map to do this on. False Creek, which should be your biggest masterpiece in a city journal about downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, is a dredged-out rectangle.
  3. Ionica - September Storms

This stuff is why Sim City 4 is still a new game after eight years. To think of how far it's come.
  4. Has anybody made RCI pilings?

I'm looking for pilings that act as blank land that I can build anything on, just like dry land. The OWW2 RCI boardwalk can be built on water, but it can't be built on - it's entirely for show. I would rather use the in-game water, rather than the ploppable stuff.
  5. All good waterfront cities have buildings, roads, rails and other good stuff on pilings over the water - there are entire cities on pilings. When I am trying to make a decent port or other waterfront area, I always run into trouble at the waterfront. Straightening it to accommodate what I want to build doesn't look very realistic. All the filler lots can't be built on and/or are already filled in. Does anybody make pilings that act like unused land? I'm talking about pilings I could build the city of Venice on. I'm not finding any, but it seems like someone would endeavor to do that. It changes the entire game when working with waterfront cities.
  6. Gobar East

It's a good journal, but the transition from two-story apartments to skyscrapers in the first mosaic might be a bit sudden.
  7. JENX Residential Growables

    None of the links work.
  8. Exploring Ionica

That's a good variety of densities and topography - I especially enjoy the hillside city. What type of rail terminal is that on the coast? Can you actually transfer people from one spot to another using it and the on-street tram?
  9. Konradedal - Part 2: The old fortress city on the river

The city really shows layered development over the centuries. I'd like to know where you got all those medieval, Parisian and modern sets at. Also, the box is on the left edge of the last picture, three or four row houses above the rampart-looking wall.
