  1. what's wrong here... I transferred all my plugin and files to a new laptop and this is the quality that I get...what have I done wrong??
  2. I unfortunately don't have a backup folder like I should have, but I placed a few mods in my city ( can't remember which ones) and ever since I placed them and saved the city, the game suddenly crashes whenever I try to play again. Is there a way to restore to a certain prior date,, kinda like how you can do in windows??

    Hey simtropolis friends! It's probably the smallest thing that I'm not doing to fix this, but I have my SimCity 4 from GOG and the resolution on 800x600 for my desktop pc, which plays the game in full screen. I recently got a new laptop, same resolution and matches everything from my desktop but it dosen't give me full screen when I play on the laptop... any ideas to easily fix this?

    Hey friends! I have recently downloaded a new region from the Maps and one by one, I'm having to go to each city tile (opening and saving, and going to the next), just to fill in the map instead of the default so the view of the region can be seen. If that makes sense.... Is there a better way, instead of doing this one city at a time?

    I recently downloaded these projects from The RR Group, Loves & Flying J along with several other fuel stations but I'm missing the gas pumps. I've downloaded all the extra dependencies, so does anyone know by chance what I'm missing?? Thank you

    Hey friends! I have the 'desert mod' downloaded but unless I'm misunderstanding or reading it incorrectly, is it supposed to automically change the background scenery to a desert setting instead of the default setting, or is there something more I need to do?

    here's what I added under the shortcut properties on the desktop app...still no change "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\GalaxyClient.exe" /command=runGame /gameId=1207664593 /path="C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition" -r1280x720x32"

    my desktop when I play (with no codes on the 'shortcut' under properties), it's fullscreen.. But on the laptop, same everything (no codes on shortcut), it has bars on the sides of the screen

    I downloaded this thinking it would change the entire ground view & color to match the desert flora but it's only giving me the option to plop it (like i would be plopping trees in God mode) ... I was hoping it would fill the entire city region automically... am I doing something wrong?

  20. Of course with my windows 10, SimCity rush hour (deluxe) won't run but if I were to get a cheap windows xp used laptop, would I have any problem getting SimCity 4 rushhour to run on it? And does it make any difference if it's a disk or digital (origin/ steam) ?

    Thank you!!! You saved me from buying a new windows xp laptop and then buying it a disc on amazon. You saved me a hell of alot of money & time Now I'm playing it perfectly for $5 off GOG on my windows 10, thank you truly!! Happy Holidays

    well everyone, it works! I downloaded the version from GOG and windows 10 gives me no problem. Now, trying to transfer my old files (plugins, regions) from my old maxis folder onto the GOG games SimCity folder works just fine, but it's not showing on the game...what am I doing wrong??

    thank you all! I do have SimCity 4 Deluxe on Origin and for whatever reason, it won't even boot on my windows 10... I don't mind paying a little money to get it on Steam or GOG, but I just want to make sure I can make it work first before hand...unless there's something on Origin that is preventing it from running that woudn't be the issue from Steam/ GOG...?

    Hi Everyone! I used to play SimCity 4 rushhour on a laptop which I no longer have, but I still have my game from Origin. I tried playing on my desktop and the game crashes immediately, and won't even load. Do I need to get an advance gaming laptop or is there some specs that I can update or change on my desktop? I have tons of plugins that I've downloaded from simtropolis so I don't know if that may be an issue?
