Ok got it but wasn't dying for a full 3D gameplay or street zoom camera. Just to see the city buildings clearly instead of 'pixelated' up close. Because we have great modders who go at lengths to create detailed buildings and stuff so it's a total shame not being able to see the intricate details. Anyway, it puts my worry wort self to rest. Thanks A Nonny Moose anf Jeffrey500. What ever flaws SC4 has, i can say that I remain married to SC4 and the other games from CitiesXL to SC 2013 were just side affairs which i ditched.. hahhaha. I could remain with SC4 and grow old with it (eh only been 10 years) should be a jubilee anniversary bash somewhere down the road *snickering*

Relatively speaking, although graphics are great in SC 2013 but unsatisfying in terms of gameplay hours, how can we make the graphics in SC4 more 'high definition' ? Would it help buying a 5k monitor? What about setting the gameplay resolution to max out the monitor/game specs visuals? Will it affect my monitor? I think the max reso of my monitor is 1920 and now i'm playing at 1680 to avoid conflict or any flickering. i see lots of SC4 simmers snap really great photos of their game. Any ideas how?

gviper - though a few ideas in 2013 were kinda cool, the execution of such was by and large an utter failure... Linoa06 - limited by itself (say, the size of cities). I couldn't agree more with you guys - had the same experience The 1st SC5 (SC2013) version I played took a few weeks to absorb the graphics and at that point I thought Tropico, Sims4 were all undergoing some sort of 3D rendering enhancement as well - like MintberryCrunch says - cartoonish graphics... but I thought Tropico was a bit better... There seems to be a trend in this - each game I love is extended to nothingness, which is a total disaster for me. By the time you try to play SC (2013), I was stuck with too many boundaries of things you could do and not forgetting that I couldn't even get to terraform some of the hilly spaces of which I thought was a waste .... urghh.. really got on my nerves... A Nonny Moose - sometimes I just leave my PC on for days just to watch the randomness...as you said - addictive... If I travel, I will take my lap-top and play the original version with no mods due to machinery constraints - hahaha still a hard habit to break from SC4 whether in it's original form or modded can't win or lose there.. But don't we all get tired downloading the props you missed or updated mods once in a while? sometimes I wonder where I misplaced the dependencies if a brown box appears in your game in your perfect city...and re-checking them again keeps me awake till 3am sometimes - but never giving up .. sometime torturing yourself to perfect your SC4 gameplay has it's own rewards..heheh Prophet42 - am with you ** I still find it hilarious and even jaw-dropping when the buildings pop-up at random esp when you can't even remember for the life of you - when or why you downloaded them in the first place ... **

I agree with A Nonny Moose well SC5 was the shortest name version I could find after SC4... (being away from forums and updates 'n stuff - sorry there bud.) And well said Jeffery500 - I too find it a little on the mainstream and the lack of creativity that SC4 could possibly do. But because of the great graphics and wanting to see your city come to life in 3D & HD (sumwhat like the evolution of Sims4) makes it irresistible not to upgrade your machine - which I did twice, signed up with Origin for the SC 2013 & Sims4 and look at where I landed - back to the nifty SC4... (don't think I remember my Origin password anymore..) One thing I didn't rush was to upgrade my Windows... (checking.....) oh yes... still at Windows 7.. and still playing with my physical DVD SimCity Box collection (just had to grab it although I had the SC4 DVD and SC4 RushHour..) sucker me.. then came SimcitySocieties...

Greed. Perfection. Trying to beat the hell outta SC5 hahahha i know ... Wishful thinkin ain't bad eh? How else can we be so loyal to SC4 even with the imperfections... Thank god for modders :)

I hear you... Right on!! Agree totally. Well if it could actually transform that this would definitely be something worthwhile and a great legacy - for SC4 players and modders who've worked on stuff so that the consumers could dig in and enjoy more countless hours perfecting dream cities... in our lttle own sim world... Could there a possibility in this? If yes then team up the great ones! and maybe the whole SC4 community/players may be willing to spend a little to get a hold of this i would If it made my SC4 life better
