In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

I have been planning to make this for more than two years. I think I can finally bring it to reality.

But it still needs more time to complete it. And queuing to export to SC4Model file.

Redoing a bunch of car props from the past. I’m doing a Nissan dealer after I upload the Mitsubishi the next few days. This one is the Sentra/Tsuru/Sunny B13 and I now have the wagon variant as well as the final edition released in 2017 (with special hubcaps!). This will also be the start of Mega Props 5, as well, covering cars from 2024 to the future, as well as a few redone models.

You could release this car as an S3D automats in a handful of taxi liveries, considering that it's still one of the most popular options for the work for its cheapness and reliability.

Spoiler

Santiago, Chile (same livery in Buenos Aires and Rosario, Argentina)

Ciudad de México (new livery, previous one was silver with red roof)

Oaxaca, México (same livery in New York and many cities in the Americas)

Lima, Perú

Also, it appears it IS nightlighted and I simply didn't notice at first.  Look forward to release.  Will make a fine addition to my otaku-centric districts alongside Ishimaru - LaOX, Sofmap, Comic Toranoana, Animate, Onoden, etc.

Gonna need some help choosing the next place to establish the next major city of the inland northeast parts of the Kingdom of Borike! I have four (4) candidate sites, shown with the colored circles!

  • Purple: furthest inland and relatively close to the developed areas of Manaya. Downside is that it's a bit cramped against those riverside hills, which could also prove favorable for some really dramatic urban landscapes
  • Red: located near a river confluence, this one sits atop a bluff, raising the land to allow for some impressive urban bridges. The river is also wide enough around here that I could try river ferries, something I haven't done in ages!
  • Blue: on the other side of the river confluence, this site here is very flat. It can make for some really straightforward development, but the land here is prone to flooding. It's also the most distant with respect to already developed areas in the Kingdom.
  • Yellow: this one has another forgiving terrain, fairly flat and with a river that doesn't get in the way. This one 's also closer to the developed areas of Camaceyes, Jácanas and Nisibón, so it'll be easier to connect to the extant portions of the region.

:read:      Ooor, if anyone else has a better suggestion, let me know!

I like purple, it seems the easiest to connect to the large urban area and it seems like a more strategic location than red/blue (it's virtually the same place) or yellow.

I have no picture, but a city of mine fell to Prop Pox and I had to obliterate it. Sad times.

Sounds awesome.

There are a lot of buildings I'd love to see implemented.  If only I knew how to BAT and had an inexpensive software program allowing me to do such I would make them myself.

Examples include Don Quijote, Takarada - Gamers, Taito Station, Tsukumo.eX, AOKI and Yodobashi in Akihabara; as well as the Ekimae and QFront buildings in Shibuya and the Yunika building in Shinjuku.

Give it a shot, it's fun *:)

The BAT software is free and you can find the download link here on Simtropolis. You can also use Blender now, it's open source and an incredibly powerful tool. The learning curve for 3d modeling is steep, but there's a huge amount of tutorials aimed at complete beginners. I'm still a novice but I think it's safe to say that 20% of the tools will get you 80% of the results (the Sega building is mostly boxes with some other basic shapes here and there).

I started BATing because I also wanted to see buildings that I liked be added to my cities. If you're really interested I could share some of the resources I found to be most helpful, lmk!

I hope you kept a backup of it, because with the SC4fix installed, you can cure the prop pox by simply saving the affected city with minimal props activated (on the graphics settings) and then with maximal props.

My problem is the BAT requires Gmax, which is not only defunct but also requires a sign-in account which I don't have.  But tutorials and tips would be wonderful if I could overcome that obstacle.

I do have a backup, but what I don't have is SC4 on Windows.

In any case, it was a mostly agricultural city on a grid pattern. It'll be rebuilt in no time.

Oh yes, if you do decide to BAT a Taito Station, please nightlight it.🙏

I love both yours and Effthegrid's BATs, but the lack of nightlighting on most of yours and his lots tends to be a downside that often precludes me from using them.

Also an Akihabara style lot without nightlighting just isn't very realistic.

I'm fairly sure the links to Gmax and the registration workaround at the bottom of this post still work—that's how I downloaded it. 3DSMax is more complicated but blender, sketchup, etc are probably easier to model in anyway.

What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!
