Based on the game's existing ordinances, it appears that quite a few were ported from SC3K (possibly automatically by a script). The SC4 power conservation ordinance has some left over data from SC3K, its minimum availability year is set to 1970. SC4 checks the minimum availability year before enabling an ordinance, but that typo has no effect because SC4 cities start in 2000 instead of 1900 and all other Maxis ordinances use a minimum availability year of 0.

Several of them (bridge tolls, water tower ads) appear to be unimplemented SC4 ordinances ideas. I had looked into both bridge tolls and water tower ads at one point, but I couldn't figure out how to implement them. As a side note, there is a ST thread with numerous ordinance ideas, most of the DLL's example ordinances were taken from that list.

Interesting, I didn't know that. It looks like they wanted to transfer them after all! At least at some point..  I think this tool was not considered to be a top priority in the game.


The "SimCity 4" vanilla Opera House is the most evil thing in existence. Avoid.

Meanwhile, work on rebuilding AMPS continues. After retrofitting the code, we are moving on to fixing the Maxis buildings, the additional buildings, and also the code as the power plants are ready. After this step, we will move on to fixing the UIs. 

There is still work to be done before a public version is released, but at least you can see the aesthetically improved version of the wind power plant already available with CAM Core 3.5.1.

It looks a bit cloudy, but that makes sense for any glass or polycarbonate that has been more than a few weeks under the sun.

Personally, I think it's great! I.love.it ! As for light, for someone from Normandy who has cloudy skies 10-12 months a year, It has a lovely daytime feel to it ! ( @matias93 Rouen gets 1500 hours of sunshine vs. Santiago 2750, pfff, show-off! *:lol: ) So we have a good compromise here !?!

Win 11 .limited to 23H2, but Win 7 & 8.1 for daily use ! Security, as long norton supports or go offline if critical ? Win XP still surface little from time to time!

I agree, they do look great and I like particularly the signs of use on the surface.

Tibi's mentioning of diagonals reminds of a question I meant to ask a creator: I never saw any Fractional Angle docks or seawalls. Is this because they are difficult or impossible to make?
