This interchange started as a cloverleaf but there was not enough space.

One day before I'm old and grey, I'll finish this one.

Same sitch as yours. Nothing else would fit. Made even more difficult by the border!

For now - I imagine many barricades.

(Just noticing a bug in JS Seawalls at view level 6, or is it just me?)

Nope, that's really a bug. JS Seawalls have been programmed in a way that the seawalls are invisible at the highest zoom level.

That's in itself easy to fix, the Seawalls just come with a lot of files. Do you know how to work with Reader? If yes, please read the description below, if no, please send me a PM and I'll quickly do that for you.

You just need to look into the folder with the seawalls and check all subfolders for files with the extension .SC4Desc. Open them with Reader, look for the property AppearanceZoomsFlag and replace 0x0000001E with 0x0000001F. That will make the seawalls visible at all zoom levels.

I've dabbled with the Reader in the past, I'll give that a shot, thanks!

Presumably that will work whichever lot doesn't behave at that zoom level?

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

The main building is a library from WZ. Everything else is a wide variety of PROPS from different sites since 2004.

A quick example (textures used in this example: roads from Network Add Mod, Scoty Text Pack 1-0-6 and Scoty MP Essential of @hugues aroux. The accessories are from @Barroco Hispano and @Girafe)

I prepare my pieces with Paint. Using the indispensable GoFSH of @rivit , I apply transparency to the pieces that require it. I assemble everything with OpenOffice Draw. Then I use GoFSH again to get them into the game. If you need more detailed explanations, don't hesitate to ask me.

Thank you for your interest in my work. However, my lots are purely “eye candy.” Releasing them would be of no interest to the community, as they are not functional. I apologize for that.

It's a custom lot, but the building is  the Neu Wache in Berlin --- by SFBT. If it's not on Simtropolis then it will hopefully be on SC4 Evermore 68865b7687747_LMTR6x6Neue_Wachesimcity4.jpg.836aa3331fbd289068762136205e9e0e.jpg

You are barking up the wrong tree!! You know, my entire catalogue is made up of useless decorative crap, right? :D

They get hundreds of downloads each and they make the game much more immersive. I don't even bother to give them icons. (Sorry everyone)

I had no idea there was a demand for this until I started making content for myself and the community requested it. I do hope that one day you might upload what you've already done - if only to inspire others to follow your methodology.

Sorry to dog you about it in public but I love what you've done here and there's definitely demand.

SC4Evermore has a collection called SFBT Props peterycristi Props. It has 25 Berlin props but the documentation does not detail which ones. I'd say the model is likely in there as the Neue Wache is such an iconic Berlin building.

But you can also find the complete BAT on SimCity SQUARE: https://cafe.naver.com/simcitysquare/41001

I could be totally wrong -- and often am......

But I seem to remember the "Neu Wacht" as one of the old Maxis "reward" buildings.  I think it was one of those "monumental" buildings with extra properties.

Today, I worked on giving a boost to a city I have built a few years ago... by implementing a tram !

The line is a modest infrastructure, around 1.5km long, with seven stops, but it provides a useful connection for the inhabitants between the harbour and the train station and through the center.

Here's the city before the construction :

68869d45d5ddf_LePire.jpg.1cf9bd36e710fe902c7c9d7cba674667.jpg

Now that the tram has been built a few transformations are needed :

And the operation is successful, around 5.000 more inhabitants have moved in since the transformation of the city centre !

I took note of your post and tried to integrate a parking lot into the curved roads of the NAM, while keeping it functional. It works, but the visual result is mediocre. There are numerous glitches. What's more, it requires offset accessories that don't interfere with those of the T21. My current skills are limited and don't allow me to go any further... Perhaps with more experience, I'll be able to release a project of this type. Only time will tell...

I dunno, I think it's a great first attempt!  Don't be too hard on yourself because even that is miles ahead of what anyone else could do (like me, for instance).  I know that a lot of your work incorporates those curves, but what if you broke the pieces up into smaller sections at first?  There are some rectangular or diagonally rectangular sections in this post that might make a good start:

Then, with assistance, maybe you can incorporate certain lots with sections where those sections are supposed to be adjacent to particular NAM curves.  You might be able to create modular beginnings, endings, and edges that work with the NAM curves that you use.  Alternatively, you could create modular sections that are merely eyecandy with road like you do right now.  Even if they're not functional, eyecandy parking lots really do serve a purpose and I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate them.

I think what you're doing is cool nonetheless - your lot looks more crisp and game-ready than the ones I've released! lol!

Thanks for your contributions - if you ever make something that's easier to distribute, I sure hope that you will. Your stuff is top notch!! :D
