Master project commercial mall !

Last stroke of this project I was looking for a big mall into the C3 Island zone. Real outspaced I looked at the C2 commercial zone. This does have plenty of space for the HBS Mall del Sur. There´s a reloted version but because of time and convinience I only have the original version here !

EXPO & Hotel area, railway station !

The Mall with a excelent monorail connection to downtown !

A few more pics for you as the work goes on in the "Imperial Dockyards: Cuxhaven". 

I honestly had no idea how big this project was going to become -- and how it would get completely out of hand.  We are nearing a point where we can clean-up the "prop packs" and begin publication of the CJ Chapters -- just one more model, a few pictures, and it's "showtime"!

Below, you see three Victoria Louise Class protected cruisers tied-up at mooring dolphins -- SMS Hansa, Hertha, and Vineta.  They are in the "New Basin" of the Bremerhaven dockyard.  On the left is SMS Hansa taking on provisions from a lighter tied alongside, while an Esmeralda Class steam tug nudges a lighter of ship's stores into position.  On the right, SMS Vineta is moored inboard, while SMS Hertha takes on fresh provisions.

On the far side of the breakwater, you can see the tide is in, and the mud flats are barely covered with water.  The breakwater is by "Uki" and the tidal flats and small island were created by terra-forming and touched-up with a bit of MMP work.  The cruisers, mooring dolphins, lighters, and tug are all scratch-built by @AP  Each model is intricately detailed, carefully textured, and a skilled "work of art".  Each new model by "AP" brings me great joy.  As a "naval historian" of sorts, the authentic detailing brings to 3D life the ships I have only seen in photographs and line drawings.  In the second picture, you get a view from across the breakwater.  Note the intricate, real-life, detail worked into the mooring dolphins.  They are amazing.

Even more amazing -- with the exception of the tug -- EVERYTHING is diagonal !!

Trying to do a modern but faithful 2023 version of the Vanilla commuter train. Trying to keep it recogniseable as that train but also give it a fresh coat of paint (still under 256x) and a few extra polys, as a treat.

A new region I am starting as of today. Based in the Portland/Vancouver region by @thecitiescenter. I also took inspiration from the City of Portland for basic road layout, but it will largely be all new design and creation. I also plan on creating a CJ for this region as time allows. Following up last night's post

Slightly more faithful to the original in a few ways. But I really like how this has turned out. And finally the coaches have night lighting. No longer will your sims have to sit in the dark on their journeys!

And one thing has led to another...

I'm once again working on my mountain railways that link a series of coastal towns with a plateau ≈300 meters high. And I had built this railway before adding the strictest slope settings on the NAM, so I had to rebuild a good chunk of it.

Here's the work in progress – I like using slope viaducts to avoid having to alter too visibly the land underneath. They're also a bit more permissive, as you can maybe see on the second viaduct.

The sun is setting but there's time to add one more Flexible Ramp

The next section demanded that I do a small turning loop to meet it. And I was so, so close (but still didn't work).

And the end result. I had to add one more curve, but the rail is now fully functional and expected to carry lots of passengers to the nearby beach and especially to all the coastal plain farms, who are desperate for workers.

And guess who got a CTD error right after posting this and forgot to save?
