Back in the day (2016 actually), I was working on the first bits of the region i'm still working on.
One of the first things I created - as I was going for the French inspired town - was a castle on the hill at the entrance of the main harbour.

And it looked like this for 6 years:

But as time went by and my city grew, I also started to use more and more recent stuff from the amazing creators here at Simtropolis. And also my style changed over the years and with that also the style of the city as i've re-done quite a bit so it would look even better.

But the castle remained the same until now :-) I've finally got around the update the area, so it fits better with the rest of the city.

Recentely I have been in the Spanish Mediterranean coast and I can tell you that these pictures are a good representation of this kind of environment. Great job !!

Hey guys, just a little update on my project. When I'm bored of playing my region, I work on paraphernalia. I joined the latest map and some spreadsheet I'm working on. The latest is mostly automatic; I only have to paste the data from Region Census in the "Raw data" sheet for everything else to update.

* Please note that counties' name and city/county limits are provisory.

The map :

The spreadsheet : Data.ods

In the last days I worked on and tweaked my spreadsheet. I now have charts to visualize my populations progression filtered upon various parameters (county, city, tile name and data snapshot date). It supports multi-tile per city and now tile renaming. I used SC4Reader Tool to get the tiles GUID to use as a unique ID. Next improvement step is multi-tile population split (a tile being shared by cities).

* I only displayed Evlester county's cities because showing all of them clogs the chart and makes it unreadable.

Hi, great cars ! Hope these can be released soon. What maybe a udea be to create some industrial factory lots. Obviously parkings will look even greater but I think this would be a nice addition  to the look of a carfactory ! Sincerely yours, Kschmidt

Insane in the trains-

Got tired of my cities looking deserted, and thanks to rivit, who made an extraordinary effort to get SC4Tool up and functioning completely, I now have the ability to transit-enable things. Animata drag my game down, so I usually keep them turned off. The bad side is that every place I make looks post-Apocalyptic. So, with my newly acquired TE abilities, I thought I'd start out by making some use-specific trains-

The town chapel and graveyard(for the respectable constituency), Rev. Hezekiah Weems presiding. Marry 'em and bury 'em.

Alas, you might be waiting a long time. But you're always welcome to a copy by PM(I don't think it's against the rules, but I may be wrong). But be aware that I have no clue as to the dependencies, nor the ware withal to track them down. And they are dat-packed. But you, or anyone else is welcome to them, and for the ambitious amongst you, you can test them, get them STEX ready, and release them yourselves. You don't even have to give me credit if you don't want to. Consider them public domain. That goes for anything I've made, too.

Day 3: the Barocco Hispano challenge- a stockyard and station. Mmmmm, smell the manure! *:D
