In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Grow. You can plop any residential lot by using the cheat code but it will not work as a regular grow lot.

Test run of 62 Glendale St in the game. Not final yet. As you can see the mural is different. I may create 3 or 4 variations including one without murals and put them in a family for randomness sake.

I'm also finalizing the nightlights. Of course the lights pattern will also be randomized.

Looking good for the suburban / natural growth approach - wish this was out when i was growing my such region - it's all built up now.  But- if i  proceed with the project i started about the same time as this current one, then t his will still come in handy.  Thanks B)

@Simmer2: Any chance of a 1x2 version or 2x2 version?

Just trying to think of how to fit it into a W2W setup.

I'm having trouble eyeballing the width of the buildings, but if they're either 2/3 or 3/4 of a tile wide (12m or 10.7m), they would fit W2W on a 2-tile or 3-tile wide lot.

Due to the emergency stairs and to a certain degree to the murals I don't think my models will conform to a wall to wall setup.

The point of the murals is to be exposed for viewing purpose.

The "SimCity 4" vanilla Opera House is the most evil thing in existence. Avoid.

My city journals! *:read:

Saving Magnasanti... - the most depressing city in history being revitalized

Also worth checking...
