All the campus streets are network enabled and the 3 and 5 story pavilions have custom lods to allow different prop placements. Plus, I've made the underground garages/loading docks in such a way as to receive game shadows.

It is a reward and will be available soon.

Some more pctures from Wilhelmshaven South......

If you remember the "Central Park" theme of a park running through both the "island" and the mainland parts of the city -- we left off with the "Siegessallee Park" on the right.  Continuing to the west, we have "Statuary Park" -- vaguely reminiscent of Wilhelm II's effort in the Tiergarten.   

 

In the next shot, you will notice the avenue and round-abouts on the right.  The top traffic circle holds the "Potsdam Cenotaph" while the bottom round-about holds the famous "Winterton Memorial Monument".  Between them you will notice pairs of the "Bertoldi Lions" at the entrance to the parks.  The paired lions not only lend continuity to the stretched out parks, but they make an impressive sight when driving between them.  The park, itself, is composed of "Paeng Pathways" modified to make them more MMP-friendly.  The green spaces are filled in with custom 1x1 tree filler lots, custom 1x1 wildflower lots, custom 1x1 sandstone paving pieces, and a great deal of MMP work.  Another example of the flexible and versitile "modular approach" to parks.  You will note the park is bordered by educational and spiritual gathering places -- The Villianios Library above, and the Deutscher Dom Cathedral below.  (With it's adjacent "Bismarck Memorial".)

 

In this close-up it is apparent that the "Diana Fountain" is the centerpiece of the park, while two statues are placed mid-way along the right side path, with two more to the left of the fountain.  I'm sure @Raymond7cn will forgive me for not using his beautiful statues, but this park was completed long before he published.  Looking closely, you can see that I had to get creative with the "prop box" to make something that might be displayed in this sort of setting.  Two statues were dedicated to poets, while the other two are academics.  (After all -- where would we be without scholars?)  I have also added lots of people.  I have always thought there needed to be more "life" on the streets and in the parks of SC4.

@davide1983it Those are lovely houses. I would definitely use them. The roof texture is a bit repetitive though. See on this model from Mattb325 how the tiles gradient goes from light at the top to dark at the bottom due to weathering?

You can have very complex windows in GMAX (the model art128 has shown in fact has 'double window frames' each with a different texture to pick out the details), but the crucial thing is to not use the textures that come with sketchup - they look good in sketchup, but they never look convincing in gmax.

You have to make the textures from scratch or alter found, tileable textures in photoshop/gimp. Unfortunately for that step, there are no shortcuts, it's a matter of putting in the time. When I used GMAX, texturing used to take about 50% of the total time to make the model.
