  1. Wow, this is way beyond what was expected. It will certain help the process proceed smoothly. Thanks for an incredible tool!
  2. That's good to know. Practically all creators name their creations sufficiently to know what it is. I just add a bit for clarity. Hopefully something can be worked out. This makes me wonder about something else I (and maybe others..?) have seen. A few times (and it seems to be random) the 'New Club Files' listing on the homepage seems to reset to where only one to three items will be listed after previously being full. The rest is blank space. As I've restored club items, the list will fill in as usual, but the previous entries never return. I believe I've seen it four times with time gaps of 2 or 3 days. However, once, it was only a few minutes. Just curious... I just assumed it was a 'hiccup'...
  3. Oh ummm... Then this means that, as we restore items, we'll need to be sure to rename things to the exact way they had been? I admit I will often rename a file so that it 'fits' my filing system, aaaaaand I haven't always renamed them when I restore them... They're always close but maybe not exact... Guess I'll have to keep that in mind.
  4. Forgot to ask about this the first time around... Are you asking about older versions of things that are sometimes accessible through the 'change log' feature on the STEX listings? Or do you mean the order in which things were uploaded originally and now they are not in the same order? In this case, I believe most of the restoration that has been so far should be in the same order since the listings are still there, but only the files needed to be re-attached. This won't be true as we get to the things that have no listings any more (Feb - April uploads). They won't be in the same order that you might remember since they'll appear to be 'new' ones. So far, however, these have been few, but maybe they're the ones you've noticed. Hope that makes sense...
  5. Okay, it looks like the image may have needed to be in the jpg format rather than png. I noticed that it was only one of two in that format, so I made a new one as a jpg file and picked it as the default image. It seems to work. I don't remember if that is the standard requirement or not, but it seems to be in this case. Later: Well, the upload directions give .png files as an acceptable format, and the one used was less than 2MB. So not sure why it didn't work... Need to get @Cyclone Boom on the case... Even Later: The drama continues... As a test I went back and selected the original image and removed the one I had added. Now the upload appears in the homepage listing as it should. Not sure why or what it all means. Guess it just needed a 'kick start'.
  6. @Cyclone Boom could give a more accurate answer, but it was one of the several things that were added not too long before the site went down. I believe the current theory is that all those newly added features survived the restoration. So far, at least in my experience they have. As for other possible buggy behavior, again, CB would in the best postion to know the likelihood of that. I guess we just have to keep an eye out.
  7. Pretty sure it was. Like you, I've noticed the 'not downloaded' sign for things I do have and only could've gotten from the STEX. Also, looking at the 'Who has downloaded' list, there is a gap from February to now. Later: Oh, that is something I haven't noticed. That is odd. Okay, saw the above Edit...
  8. Just tried a couple things... It looks like the first image (the one selected to be displayed as the default) was not being recognized by the homepage as an acceptable size/shape or something. When I chose one of the other images as the default, it now appears. I believe we've come across a similar thing in other areas - maybe Features..?
  9. Replaced with correct file. Thanks.

Totally understandable and makes perfect sense. I guess it would be dependent upon the short-term vs. long-term goals. If we want to get things made available and in a 'safe' place, bundling by creator would accomplish that. Granted, some may need to be made into smaller chunks because of the amoiunt of material. And I think there is a good amount of material that folks have saved up that would d make this a fairly quick process. At the same time, information regarding those items, such as images, readmes, dependencies could be determine and added as time permits. However, waiting for that initially would be a time-consuming process that would lead to a greater wait time for things to become available. Just some thoughts...
  11. Simtropolis Returns!

    Done... (link)
  12. Saw the report...Working on it... Thanks. Later: Done... Not sure how in the world got that graveyard file attached...
  13. Show us What you're Working On

That sounds like it might be a goood idea. Probably more effective than trying to catch up by doing things one item at a time.
  14. Thanks for the headsup. Just a case of getting a little blurry-eyed after doing several in a row. Should be corrected, now. We have most of the files that were lost from the club. Unfortunately, that didn't include all the images. It's just a question of translating things so that we can make some kind of effort to figure out how to match things up... Deleted your banner after I noticed it...
  15. Later: Nevermind... Probably 'operator headspace'... After a bit of lite reading and searching around, figured it out (I think). Wound up removing just the program's cache folder (after initially doing that when replacing the whole program) and running the program again. Seemed to do the trick. Not sure why it took doing it twice... Will leave the post here for posterity's sake... Hi all, This may be something simple on my end, or I missed an announcement, but... I'm receiving this when running the program or when using the STEX buttons: I first noticed this a few days ago, but I hadn't used SC4pac in a while. I also tried to redo everything with the newest version. And as far as I know, nothing was altered with my interent service. But who knows... Here is the log report. Not sure what it means... Thanks for any suggestions...
