Traffic in this town is really bad I could widen this to a 12S if smooth curves exist for it one day

Have you thought about building a giant escalator with steps large enough to fit a car? That's the only way you're going to get up there ...or down in one piece lol

I have 12 thousand high res screenshots on flickr before they capped the limit. 2018 pics and older can be found there. https://www.flickr.com/photos/haljackey/ For post 2018-there is no central repository for my stuff but you can look at my imgur, reddit pics and posts here. I also have tens of thousands of pics on my computer that are frequently backed up on multiple hard drives along with my region and plugins should anything happen to my primary drive.

... You're quoting my first post here from 2012. Have you not seen any of my pics from the last 10 years or so? I've switched to these for all builds since and replaced many of the older builds with them as they get retrofitted/upgraded. Example: --- I even have a thread for this and other things I often use for highway builds-

Got a quick SC4 question?... Ask here!
Haljackey replied to City_Slider's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
It's like how old skool NES players still keep crappy, bulky CRT TVs around- they just don't look the same on a 65" 4k flat-screen. Some games like Duck Hunt actually rely on the curvature of the screen to work. While it is a pain to set up/take down, you could buy a 1080p monitor - you can get 27" ones pretty cheap here these days - to play SC4 and other games suffering from the up-scaling issue. You could put it next to your 4k if you have the space/use dual screens or perhaps temporarily in front of it. Not ideal but that's a possible solution for now unless/if a solution is discovered. -

SimCity 4 supported 1600x1200 back in 2003, which was a absurd screen resolution at the time I'm still amazed it runs at 1080p without any fuss. I think for general game-play 1920x1080 is fine, but if you want to take screenshots and whatnot you can up the resolution of your computer/monitor supports it. You can change your resolution to this size via your display settings to have it look a bit better on 4k monitors. -
Just check with the site staff- they are generally ok with something like this being done in good faith. They may still say no, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Hi there! This configuration is currently not supported. You can however, swap the networks so that the RHW goes over the rail- that is supported. An alternative is to switch to one-way roads instead for the section under the rail. I have a similar config in one of my cities for a example:

Here's a 3-way interchange I built to support a port development. It has a couple half interchanges for local connections on the sides. To the north is a folded diamond approaching the port area In the port area there's a tight diamond interchange which also serves as a dual rail overpass Not an interchange, but the terminus at the end of the dock connects to a ferry terminal. Zoom outs of the main junction and the port interchanges

Doesn't hurt to ask. I never had any beef with Pegasus. Whatever issues I had with his creations causing prop pox were gone as soon as SC4 Fix resolved the problem for good. -- My first proper port is taking shape now. Feedback welcome

My dudes and dudettes, I just found the easiest way to apply additional resolutions including widescreen... don't be scared. Just replace the EXE what I've attached on this post. (Attached in case the link dies one day) For Steam it will likely be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimCity 3000 Unlimited\Apps I can run it in 1080p with no issues on the Steam version. Direct link: https://files.gog.com/support/SC3U.zip Or download here: SC3U.exe Original is courtesy of 'Guest' found here.
