Working on a pilot boat to spice up the variety of support vessels:
  2. Kloudkicker's Lot Creations

Maybe the lot seems a little stuffed...how about a safety zone (e.g. some yellow crossed out parking textures) and a walkway between the building and the high voltage substation.
  3. RUTIGLIANO

very interesting to see a completely different architectural style in a city!
  4. haha, that bad that you could confuse it with a plane?

This is the model of a SAR Cruiser of the 28m class as operated by the German rescue organization DGzRS. It is a remarkably seaworthy vessel with a full aluminium hull designed in a net structure. It is powered by two MTU diesel engines with a combined power of 2.880kW, which allow speeds up to 24kts. It is designed and equipped to provide help in the most extreme weather conditions. It even has the capability of self-rightening in case of capsizing. Their Motto: “Rausfahren, wenn andere reinkommen.”. (We go out, when others come in) Content There are 4 lot files in this pack, install whichever you like (it is possible to use all 4 files at the same time). The lots should show up relatively at the end of your port menu. A_1P_SAR_cruiser1 · docked (working lights on, bridge lights on, navigation lights off, personnel on deck, fenders overboard). A_1P_SAR_cruiser2 · underway (working and bridge lights dim, navigation lights on, personnel on bow) A_1P_SAR_cruiser3 · hard to stbd A_1P_SAR_cruiser4 · hard to port Dependencies · none Instructions Unzip and place in plugin folder, eg.: C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins Dedication This model is dedicated to the brave crews serving on DGzRS vessels to save others.

I guess I have not posted here in a while... working on something for the offshore world: 28m Seenotkreuzer (SAR cruiser, 28m class) DGzRS
  7. Show us What you're Working On

Some new offshore turbines are available for the SC4 energy industry: SWT-3.6 full remodel with 1 additional rotor blade position: and SWT-6.0 seen in the post above
  8. @Rott the option to turn default lighting back on after having placed a light source and the model goes dark is under the following menue: Customize > Viewpoer configuration > Viewport Rendering Options > Default Lighting

Would it be possible to get some single and double engine small prop aircrafts for rural airfields? (Cessna or Piper)

Wow! So many little details everywhere you look! Very creative lot! THANKS!

This is the model of a 6 MW offshore wind turbine based on a Siemens SWT-6.0-154©. It has a rotor diameter of 154m and at a hub height of 120m (for these specific models I made). It is built on a 3 legged jacket for shallow coastal regions. The difference of this turbine compared to my other models is that it is a direct drive system. This means there is no gearbox transmitting the rotation to common generator rpms (1500rpm). Instead, there is a large diameter, multi pole, variable rpm generator that is driven directly by the rotor (7-15rpm). The converters and transformers are located in the nacelle. More info can be found here. Content This File contains four wind power plant lots with the same turbine type at different rotor positions. The production is set to 6000 and the O&M costs are 200$ per month. One turbine is undergoing maintenance and has no power output and zero budget impact. 12. @Simmer2 thanks for the review! I agree on you feedback regarding textures, however texturing is still part of my weak game. Can you recommend tools to "age" textures? Like add noise/dirt/rust over a color canvas or such?

A little teaser: (highly recommend the video for people interested in engineering and technology)
  14. CHAPTER 17 -- INTERMISSION -- ODDS & ENDS

Great naval history as always! I am very excited to provide some content for the upcoming chapters!
  15. Borobudur Temple

Very interesting creation and congrats on what seems to be your first published item!
  16. Show us What you're Working On

Looks great! Really cool to see someone use some of my stuff
  17. (Mod) AMPS Development Thread

Looks great, one comment though: Shouldn't the capacity be stated in MWh per time period or in MW? Since the capacity of the transformers and substations is staded correcly in kW.
  18. hm, that is wierd indeed. Did you try just selecting "vertex" as only option?
  19. You might need to adjust your snapping options: Right klick the magnet icon on the lower bar, then opt out Grid points and opt in Vertex, then make sure you confirm with X in the upper right and don't accidentally click clear all.
  20. KK Transformer Lots-Small

Wow, these look AMAZING👍🏼 Thanks for creating them!

Yes you did it! glad that project came together!
  23. A_1P Onshore WTG N117

@City_Slider not quite done with the project, I am playing with thoughts about a wider vessel spread for offshore operations and a few turbine construction sites. But I guess you should not wait on that and just start playing. It could be a while...
