  1. http://www.wiki.sc4devotion.com/index.php?title=DLC:Air_Force_Base This entry talks about an 'unimplemented' airport (?) zoning- apparently this is the only building that can grow on this unimplemented zoning type. I wonder if there are other unused zoning like this that can be used for mods, or if that's even possible.
  2. Is such a thing possible? Or is it something that the traffic Sim can't handle, or no one has tried before?
  3. I know about the fiasco with SimCity 2013, but it still sold pretty decently (better than 4) and about the same as Cities Skylines ~2 Million (though SimCity 2013 sold a bit more due to being out longer). Is SimCity 2018 or even SimCity 6 likely (probably outsourced, Maxis Emmeryville has been shut down). Plus, major SimCity games generally release ~5 years- not to mention SimCity has (barely) not been killed off, since EA at least sees some money in it, potentially due to the relative successes of SimCity Social and SimCity BuildIt, along with Cities Skylines. Hopefully, this time, the better computers of 2018 will permit Glassbox with bigger maps, and a NAM-style traffic controller. And please no forced online. Please. It would be funny to see Paradox make SimCity 2018.
  4. I'm missing the reward slots for the PEG navy mod for Navy bases 3 and 4. They never seem to show up in the rewards section, even with cheats used. Help?

  8. This is definitely a mod issue, but I can't seem to figure out exactly where. And no, I only have one copy of NAM- Subway is the only thing with this issue.

    add Monorail through your jobs and Residential districts. Often, the workers can't get to the jobs if your city is large. Also, check if there are any glitch (modded) buildings- namely, if there are buildings with a 0/0 capacity, or empty lots from removed buildings or badly made buildings. Those usually create fake demand/supply, and should be modified or removed.

    Is it possible that RTMT, would be merged with NAM- considering it's one of the last major transit mods not in NAM- and that an installer would make it much easier to install overall.
  15. You saw the title. It seems I have another mod problem, this time, with a BSC mod (!) The budget menu fails to show up.
  16. There are problems with the Maxis Beach and FRV Ski Resort. community.simtropolis.com/files/file/1224-frv-ski-resort/ The first, beach. The Beach textures don't show up at all- literally, either it shows up as dark bricks, or not at all. And only the sand portion too... How do you fix this? Meanwhile, the FRV Ski Resort seems to be broken- it won't modify it's shape to the terrain, as it should... how do I fix this effect

    that's what I meant... I have them for the basic pedmalls (in textures) but not in the other pedmall textures...

I set all R taxes in this Commerical region to 0, and yet when using the pathfinder, it doesn't show sims heading to many of the jobs in the region, even though they are available, and the demand for R in all categories has been filled everywhere in the region. Help? taxes all are 0 on all R and yet have no workers in CS
  19. It was a problem with my modding. In this case, I failed to remove all instances before deleting a mod (causing ghost supply). The other case, before, was when I modded a few CS buildings improperly, so Simcity thought I had a CS$$$ building instead of a CS$$. The last was the legit issues with the buildings Roachman Hotel and Tornado Towers, and a few others I can't remember. I had to heavily mod them to get them to function properly. There's only one instance of each, they should be easy to find with a google.
  20. Messed up ski resort and Beach

    No, not that, literally the Entire THING doesn't mold to the terrain. The Ski resort only plops flat. So would you put a 1_ in front of the file name?

    Where can I find Diagonal Pedmalls to mess around with in my Simcity 4 game? Also, if anyone knows where to find Commerical "Pencil Towers" would be nice.
  22. Seems to be glitched buildings again- that's a major issue with modding. Always remove all instances FIRST.
  23. Land bridge?

    I have no idea how this formed- it's a "land bridge" of sorts- made by zoning agricultural onto two hills. I don't get how this was supposed to be formed. It also is unable to be passed under by a road or street- like a normal bridge. Since it only works from streets, it's not really 100% useful. But still interesting.
  24. The issue is that even where I have lots of R as sleeper neighbourhoods, the R demand is shown as satisfied, even though it isn't. I can't really find any glitched buildings, either. I DID find a glitched police force in one of my sleeper cities, but that's about it. I reset the city because I couldn't delete it, nor did it actually seem to show up visually in the game, making it impossible to delete without resetting. Also, I don't demolish much, I just grow only high density. Which is why I have few parks.. The land value and desirability are fine, though. Normally only R$ grows in low desirability areas. I just get the feeling the C buildings aren't being detected by the simulator...
  25. No demand cap hit, I checked. I taxes are all maxed out. When I grow high-density R, I get low-med density or none at all. Should I use a demand modifier to get the R I need?
