  1. Urban Recreational Canals

Wow, Paeng I love how you put it all together! Do you know where you got the mini opera/concert building (the white, 1/2 shell looking building) I've been looking everywhere and can't find it. Thanks in advance
  2. Hi there, I happened to be reading this thread on SC4D (since I have hilly region) and noticed there that someone had made excellent use of something Mulefisk said you created:

    walled_ramps.jpg

You kindly mentioned your username here but alas, your item is no longer here (you mentioned it also to Deionn on his item "UDPX Overhead Tunnel Series Part 1 1" here on STEX.

Is there any way you could be persuaded to re-upload your creation? I am sure I won't be the only one to use it and thank you!

      @Lumeria

Here's the link to the file:

Unfortunately with the new site, the old link format no longer redirects to the new files. Hopefully we can get that sorted sometime...

      Hope this helps! :)

Wow, that was fast! Thank you for the fast response and the correct link. I know with the previous iterations (and updates) of this site that it has been a problem that has plagued it (broken links).  That's no easy task for the webmasters here to rectify, but I know we all appreciate their efforts, even with valuable stuff like yours lost from time to time.

So thanks so much, CB, I really appreciate it!! I'll post back soon with a photo of usage.

  3. Success!! There was great rejoicing in the land! I installed NAM 33 (don't see anything that isn't perfect) and implemented your proposed solution with a small dose of re-arranging and am pleased to show the results: And the other site worked out perfectly after installing NAM 33: Thanks again for your help and my gratitude to the entire NAM team!
  4. Thank you so much for your reply and suggestion. I am always amazed, impressed and inspired by the creativity and kindness of the community. I will watch the tutorial and see what I can do to implement your solution. I knew there must be a way to transition off of Rd4 even to EL over plain ground, I just couldn't figure anything out! I am using the Euro textures so I understand (I think) from the discussion on SC4D that the texture (nor LHD) is actually or partially implemented but I'll take functional over pretty until I can make it pretty later when 33 is released outright. It's always an adventure! Thanks again and I'll post a photo of what actually comes out
  5. Hi all! I am wondering if anyone can help me, I have two areas that are causing me troubles. I don't even know if what I want to do is possible. I'm trying to connect EL over Road 4 to EL over road (Maxis regular) crossing over an intersection, but it seems to elude me. What am I missing? I have the current NAM, did not choose "alternate" for EL and do have the puzzle piece that is supposed to connect EL over road to either EL over Rd4 or Ave, but the EL doesn't line up on that piece with the EL over Rd4, so I'm a bit lost. I have LHD, if that makes any difference... Also, in the second troublesome area, does anyone know how to connect EL over road, through at T intersection to just plain EL? I cannot get the puzzle piece to connect to the regular EL. If the two pictured configurations I have set up at the present are impossible, does anyone have any suggestions as to a better method or configuration I might try instead? Either way, thanks in advance!
  6. Show us your Creeks, Rivers, and Streams!

Thank you, Phil, I do appreciate that. I assumed DropBox photos would work, but alas they did not so I had to switch to PhotoBucket and it worked like a charm! But I will especially remember to convert from .png (default in-game) to .jpg in the future. Not a problem with a little free program IfranView
  7. Show us your Creeks, Rivers, and Streams!

This is Glerb Lake, in the South side of the CBD of Anas. It is connected to its sister, Miel Lake and connected by Dogwood Creek. This is a closeup of Glerb Lake - sure, you work near the motorway, but just imagine this is the view from your office? The city has provided a lovely gazebo so Anasi can take lunch by the lake! Dogwood Creek flows by the University, past the Lower Glerb station and some posh flats That's all for now. I was inspired, so I thought I would share
  8. PEG Pond Kit II Deluxe Edition

I know this is an old file, but since Pegasus' site is forever gone I will ask here: There is a style patch for the Stream Kit II so the water will match the Channel Stream Kit - is there one for Peg Ponds as well? Otherwise it looks really weird with two different water colors (textures). Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction!
  9. How can you tell the cardinal directions within a city? I need to place a lot facing North (JENXAurora Beta v3). I'm stumped. Thanks in advance for helping a n 0 0 b !
  10. NAM Documentation Online

Yeah, no worries. Like I said, I was just relieved to find out I didn't do something bone-headed or was looking right at it and not seeing it. (like happens in a store- when you call the clerk and they go right to where you were standing and it was right. in. front. of. you!)
  11. NAM Documentation Online

HA! I thought it was just me. I even reinstalled NAM32 and was pulling my hair out because all the documentation says NAM 31.2! I was specifically looking for documentation on the nifty new RHW pieces... Oh well, I'll just play around with it on a blank city until I exhaust myself.
  12. SC4 Tools Support Page

Hiya Doc! I adore your program but I wanted to report a fairly serious conflict. With the advent & release of NAM 32, the "reset & repack" process actually -even though Network Addon Mod is set to exclude -DIC deletes the entire content of that folder located in C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins (the folder is left but is emptied). It does not delete the C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\SimCity 4\NAM Auxiliary Files though. I have tested this now 7 times (reinstall Nam32, run DIC, wash, rinse, repeat!). I'm running Win7 Pro x64. I've pasted the contents of the log below, in case it helps. I thought you might like to know this is occurring and hopefully it can be rectified. As I said, I adore DIC and would love to continue to use it as it is meant to be used! Here is the contents of my log, in the hopes it will help to rectify this issue. I don't know anyone who has NAM who would give it up. Logbook cleared on 25 Apr 2015 at 16:31:47 25/04/2015 - 16:32 Exclusion error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 13. NWM Underpass

Thank you for these they are a good idea. But the second dependency link only gives an 'error not found' message, and without it there are only the dreaded Brown Boxes! Please kindly change what the link is and what the name of the dependency is (in case in the future the site reorganizes and/or links break).   [The first dependency is for ILL Tonkso Avenue Underpass, with correct link.]   Thank you in advance.
  14. Logistics Centres Lots MegaPack

@zusain - you can always copy the name of the listed dependency and past it into the Search box in the top left corner of the Stex. Hopefully it will still be here and the search results page will list it. That's what I did and I found the corect links:   Warehouses BATProps Part A 1: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/15582-warehouses-batprops-part-a/ Warehouses BATProps Part B 1: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/15583-warehouses-batprops-part-b/   I have not used this yet, but I think it will be helpful - keep up the good work, Cogeo!
  15. NDEX Kaigaten 14

The link to the dependency is broken and just goes to the main page here. Could someone please state what that dependency actually is so we can search for it (or include a link to it -even better)?
