    I can see my images were deleted. Thats funny, I posted it in other thread and deleted from it. It deleted from here too. Anyways, I was playing around with the resolution pixels, and went back to the original and it worked. This is so dumb. Thank you though. (I do IT for a living and I really dont understand what happened)

    Thank you, I removed it but it still didnt work. i know I can hide the task bar but that should not be the problem. To avoid putting the cursor down and having the task bar pop up, like I never had this issue before. Not sure what to do, maybe the resolution is wrong?

    Hi Simtropolis! I didnt want to open a new thread but my batch file for opening SC4 might have something wrong. Evertime I open SC4, the bottom of the screen is overlapped by the windows task bar. And overlapped means I cant get to the buttons/options that it covers. This is the file: The icon looks funny too (without the cogs): And finally the game overlaps this: What am I doing wrong? Yes, it has been years since I play. Thanks in advance.

    How you doing guys? Im getting back on track to play SC4, Im not looking for challenges, I love playing just to make it easy going. Anyways, I am looking for just one mod in particular I used to love but cant seem to find it. The mod gives a increased starting budget but not only that. What I liked the most is that the revenue you perceive is way higher than normal, so taxes can be super low and will always make a profit no matter what. I have been looking for over an hour here and online in general but cant seem to find it or remember the name. Could somebody point me in the right direction please? I looked for a similar thread but couldnt find it as specific as this.

  7. I bought it from Origin a long time ago, and it always worked properly on XP and Win7, but this is just ridiculous. I can create as many shortcuts I want but it is all the same, I don't understand since I think I'm running as an admin. I should. Also this OS is new to me, is it possible that I can't run as an admin in the first place? I really appreciate the earlier quick responses from you guys, love this community. By the way, the advanced option keeps getting BETTER (please note my sarcasm).
  8. Guys I need some help from you pros please: I recently got a new computer with Windows 10, but the problem is I am unable to edit the Target on my shortcut!! I want to skip the intro and have a good resolution, how can I do it? I have attached the image of how it looks to me. Its like grayed out, the target box I mean... Please help, thanks in advance.

    I've read every now and then that the regions have "stages" and that is how the game develops either medium sized buildings or skyscrapers. But how can I know that in my region? How do I get that information? how many region stages are there? Thanks in advance.

  15. Well, this is it. Following the tips and suggestions from several members here I finally managed to have great cities, balanced, FAR from perfect, but balanced. By separating the residential from the industry and putting the commercial in the middle, I managed to get big buildings. I don't know how bigger they get, but this is a good start (a start of 10 months actually) Thanks Simptropolies
  16. I highly recommend you use the NAM, definitely. My traffic bar is always green almost 90% all because of the NAM features. I start using the subway as soon as I get a little money and over 10k sims. That works out fine, but still, I use many bus stops as well, they come from residential zone to the subway stations and I've seen they also travel between cities! Theres always an avenue or road with traffic but not a big deal, also rail with one or two passenger stations leading directly to the commerical zone for higher sim flow in that zone. Works every time!
  17. So downloading NAM has been the best mod ever. I love how my city is turning out. Now, about the pedestrian tiles, it says they're for Malls (commercial zones). So my question is, if a commercial zone needs to head to a street, do the tiles do the work? I don't know if I explain myself correctly (english is not my native language), but for example, instead of the commerial being directed to a street, can it be directed to pedestrian tiles and NOT show the "no car access" icon? In other words, what is the best use of pedestrian tiles? thanks in advance!

  21. Well, I really am still a newbie. I don't consider myself an expert and I can't get skyscrapers yet. I don't know exactly what population I must have, or commerce or industrial development. There's almost 250k people already plus other 250k in the adjacent cities. I can say that this city is a "big" one between 6 more fairly developed cities so the region can do business among itself. Transportation is great, a lot of highways and a lot of subway, very complete. Also they like to use passenger rail for some reason (500% all the time wtf) What needs to be done for skyscrapers to be built?

  23. I got mine like three weeks ago in Origin for less than US$8.00. A real bargain if you ask me. Totally worth it.

    I'll keep this in mind. I've never backed up the files because I didn't know exactly what folder it was but thanks to this now I know. I've also been in the situation where I make bad decisions and end up with negative budget hehe but I've always managed to come back up with no cheats like yourself. What I do is raise taxes (a little), ask for loans (sometimes like 30-40 grand) and zone a lot. Then the population justifies the expenses. I like the rush.
