  1. Isometric_Camera

    While it is reminiscent of SimCity 4, the camera perspective is not isometric but rather 'tilt-locked'. Interestingly this is a restriction mod, albeit one that adds a new option to the game. Personally I think it takes away a key advantage of having a real 3D engine, however I appreciate the choice. As for zoom, It doesn't appear to modify that aspect. Certainly not like CamMod1 does.
  2. Can they be plopped farther away then the ambulances in the "Farther Away Mod"? I assume they conflict as well, which #FartherAwayMod.package was for the ambulance?
  3. What does it do? Increase the rate which sims are educated?
  4. DizzyDisaster shows some new mods on Twitch.

    While any coverage of SimCity mods is good, Dizzy's stream was heavy on the talking and light on the demonstrating. Maybe it was the delayed stream Xoxide was working from or just a lack of preparation, but it was very uncoordinated and raised more questions than it answered. Frankly, If I didn't know so much about SimCity and the mod scene I'd be bored and confused. Xoxide excitedly rambled about Akar ("a car"), which I doubt the Twitch audience understands or cares about. It does make UDoN and pRCI more user-friendly, but it doesn't have near the 'wow factor' of the others. Also consider that ProcsKalone developed submenus for BOC over a year ago, Akar has basically applied the method to different mods (while ironically overriding BOC). Next time I suggest more planning/direction so you can properly explain and demonstrate everything, ideally one feature at a time.
  5. BOC's still used for plopping where Orion doesn't work, it's also sometimes handy to not require snap points.
  6. Do you have to work out that other menu now? Seems premature. Also, will we still have to use SSign's addon and it's confusing menus if we want to build bridges and tunnels outside?

    If you can make sense of the description and menus, this addon basically allows the building of bridges and tunnels outside.   A few limitations: - The roads must be low density UDoN to be upgraded to tunnels and high density UDoN for bridges. - They also have to be curved in order to raise or lower them outside first. - You can only use the upgrade tool on segments of road that are at least partially inside or very close to the boundaries.

  13. Yes, anywhere. Albeit unlike Orion the BoC buildings don't snap to roads, instead they always face north.
  14. Try placing this script file in SimCityUserData/Packages, you might have to load up your city and then restart the game for it to apply.
  15. I've uploaded version P here. BoC is still unmatched in that it allows: - Plopping anywhere (no need for snap points) - Chain-plopping & Over-plopping of the "outside modules" It also includes the best version of Felgard's 'Street for Buses' mod, based on the narrow service road instead of the wide amusement park road.

    Can the border line be drawn to represent the area that can be built in? Instead of expanded in every direction. Also could it be possible to bulldoze regional trees?

      My favorite map to use with BOC is Granite Lake > Starlight Fields as it is flat and has lots of room towards the south and west. Unfortunately Orion only lets me plop towards the north and east where there is little room. : (

    "In game regional roads and train tracks cannot be demolish." You used to be able to do that with the BOC mod on Update 8, as a workaround/override on Update 10.1 you can rename the script file from BOC 0.98N and place it in SimCityUserData/Packages.   I've uploaded the renamed file here: https://mega.co.nz/#!W9BjmSzQ!Z70xpLxsdm426xH0iwuPg0yFpI0K117E7JTyGL77dTQ Be aware that demolishing too much regional rail can cause the game to crash.
  19. Are the outer tracks/platform functional or just for appearance?     I presume "able to function besides the default station" means it won't replace them, as is the case with Oppie's bus stops.

  21. Nope, just pointing out that you're currently the only "source" and without proof. I don't expect you to provide any, this has been made into far too big a deal already.
