    Trying to get back into the game after getting it on GOG, ported over my mods, installed all the necessary fixes, etc. Now, attempting to place beaches causes a CTD, every time. SimCity Exception Report 2025.09.10 23.05.16.txt

    Attempting to run any script at all CTD's the app, no error message, no error log. Running in admin mode did not work either. I am on Windows 11. EDIT: Documents and System paths were duplicated upon install. Fixing it fixed it.

    I got the GOG version of SC4, but sc4pak is REFUSING to detect my previously installed mods I ported over from the disc version. How do I make it recognize my old mods? I made my profile, set it to SimCity 4 > Plugins > Profile > Plugins, and sorted my mods as instructed into the new subfolders. No dice. This is my first time using it. I tried pointing it to the base plugins folder instead, no dice either.
  6. I already have NAM and CAM, so those need updating for sure. What else do y'all suggest?

    That makes much more sense now, so I figured out where to put what file, which in my case was the RHD file into the y_RealRailWay folder. Thank you!

    What are the differences between the LHD and RHD files? How do I know which one to put into the folders listed in the readme? And how do I find out which folder goes where? I find the format of the readme to be a bit confusing, tbh.

    I've noticed a slight incompatibility with the SimCity 4 Launcher; everything works beautifully except the AutoSave, which doesn't, claiming SC4 isn't running, even though it is. Is it possible this might be fixed in a future version?

    Actually, I was wanting to block ALL mansions, and even after installing those mods I was getting mansions built and ruining my R$$ neighborhoods. So I dug through my plugins folder starting with the mod that started it all, and i found a new R$$$ mansion file that for some reason, was included in the BSC Farm rewards SG Vol 01 mod, but I didn't notice because it came with an installer. It had the name in the file name ("...CharlotteManor..."), and so I loaded up sc4 and sure enough each and every single of the new mansions was "Charlotte Manor". So apparently I wasn't realizing that the mansion blocker mod I had wasn't truly universal. Oops lol.

    A long, long, time ago in a city far, far away I had to download this mod: Because of the Trump wannabes killing my R$$ communities. However I recently had to download this mod: which is apparently an unlisted dependency for my whole CAM suite, iirc. However it seems to conflict with the stop mansions mod and despite adding a few z's to the start of the name to make it load last, and so the mansion problem has returned. I dont like hiking my tax rates, so are there any better, more recent mods that dont conflict with the farm mods?

    Is it possible to set custom screen refresh rates? SC4 seems to be reducing my screen refresh rate, when I switch to different monitors, but I want to keep a constant refresh rate at 60 ghz. Is it possible to do this via the shortcut options or in SC4 launcher?

    Kind of. I went through the readmes provided in the BMD Mediterranean Style Farms, and in the list of dependencies, there were a few that were either locked by the Admin at the LEX, or had a slightly different filename, which therefore confused me a little. While rereading the readme to double check, I realized I had downloaded one of them yesterday during that search for dependacies for Imori that I forgot to install, BSC Mega Prop Pack MBEAR Vol01. I installed that and the problem is fixed, I believe.

    Hi there, Im looking for missing dependencies for the Imori Lavender Farm., however I checked and installed everything I could find, but Stages 2 and 3 are *still* coming out as brown boxes. Stage one of Imori Lavender farm is fine however, with no brown box. I'm using CAM and NAM 34
