kevinman: police stations do tend to be simple. Locally they're almost indistinguishable from other infrastructure. The police station nearest me, for example, is pretty much a box with a few bits jutting out to the north and south. The only way you'd know apart from the sign that it's a police station is the police cars out the back (they can be seen from one of the streets.

*salivates* Looking absolutely beautiful. Now that my new rig's up and running, I might be able to enjoy the benefits of BATs more. (2GB of RAM definitely doesn't hurt...)

Hmm, I think midrisers would suit spa better. Besides, the maxis ones breed like bunnies.

I don't know what it is, but the reflections look a bit "busy". You've definitely nailed the glass colour, though. -
Good luck with this. I'll watch with interest, as I'm also in Sydney.

Looks great. I assume those freeways/motorways are intended to be bypasses? Just that I saw no exits!

Did you change much between those last two views, because the most recent one is insanely good. And the roof look right in that new one too. -

Sunken RHW, eh? Believe me, you'll find quite a few fans if you're able to get that one to work. Good luck with it all.- 3,919 Replies

The reflections look great. I think you need to change the roof texture though, it's a little bright, and a bit samey. Otherwise it's coming along well. I haven't been in here a while, and I'm glad to see you're giving that complex another go - I loved the models of the previous versions, but the textures never did quite sit right with me. This is an improvement out of sight. Well done. -
Originally posted by: Duvad That is so awesome, Tonkso. It's just a shame I can't use it because I'm only aiming to get 1 million across a small 15 by 20 kilometre region. It'd be a great substitute for Central Station if anyone was doing a Sydney-like region, though. BTW, for that 4-platform station on the previous page - could you fullfill my request from a month ago to do a 9-10 tile long platform version?quote> Hmm, you're forgetting one thing: Central has through platforms. The best way to do Central would be to split it. Thankfully this wouldn't be too hard to do, as a track pair divides the two sections.

Well, I'm back in. I would be SimNewtonia.

SC4Terraformer, a tool for regional handterraforming
cammo2003 replied to wouanagaine's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
JohnD0ugh: what version of DirectX do you have? SC4Terraformer requires DX9.0c if I recall correctly. Sorry, I gaffed, hit the wrong number on the keyboard. GAAAH! -
