Hi all,

Wondering where I can find the buildings circled in red. The pivoting, white high-rise in the upper right doesn't seem to be anywhere on the STEX.

I can't quite tell what the spire looking one on the far left is from this zoom (though it does look familiar and I'll keep looking for it), but the boxy building toward the bottom is this:

The corkscrew building at the top right is the aptly named "Corkscrew" by onlyplace4, which seems to no longer be available on the STEX. It is available on the STEX collector's disc volume 3, however. Unfortunately, onlyplace4 is no longer with us, so I don't know what the policy would be about restoring the file (I'll defer to @CorinaMarie and @Cyclone Boom here).

In the event that it can't be restored, there is a somewhat similar building in this prop pack that may suffice:

Thanks for the heads up about this.

If there's any other files like this too only on the STEX Collections discs, they can be restored similarly for inactive authors.

When authors are still active, we ask if they'd like files adding to their account. Understandably most missing files are due to server issues over the years, and so restoring them again is then beneficial for both the author and community. This fits in with the custodian efforts Tibi leads, and every little certainly helps along the way. Also rest assured we've got a much more robust system nowadays, since we make regular manual backups of the server.

Hi, that's what I thought too but I tested in the game and the Spire is bigger than the Mahanakhon Condo. But maybe @ByeByeBayou could tell us, because the picture is from his CJ.

That on your image is probably @Glenni's The Spire of Dublin and not the above linked @SimCity4IE's The Spire of Dublin. This is the later one:

Edit: Additionally, it'd be ideal if y'all include day and night pics of it we can use when we restore it to the STEX and, preferably, write a description which could be pasted in as well. The idea here is if you've been using the building you'll know more about it and how to describe it to other peeps.

What I've read, this is possibly done by Debusseyman. I checked my France files, and turned up nothing(I would definitely have dl'ed it if I'd seen it). It was a WIP so he may never have released it on these sites(ST or Dev) but possibly at Toutsimcity or Kurier.

I don't think it was ever on the STEX, I've got a zip file called BaST V3a.zip and when you open it up its got a plugin called "The Blam and Simcities Tower V3" and the readme in part says

So, our only hope is someone downloaded it from there and has a copy they can share. Since www.simcities.com is no longer in existence, this certainly falls into the category of restoring content which is no longer available thru no fault of the creator.

I have several versions of the BLaM and SimCities Tower. Only one has 'Obsidian' in the name (dated 5/23/2007). Can't say where I got it from, but the readme does state:

Looks like the one from the Korean website (Link). To download, click the link at the top to the right of the image and then select the link with 'PC' in the string of Korean characters in the drop down box.

Wooow. I have never met with this site. I knew about the main korean site, but not about this one. Letsbe (I think this is the author's username there) has quite a few interesting creations on this site, now I started downloading them.

Being familiar with Korean (and to our Korean members, please correct me if I’m wrong), I am almost sure that Letsbi is the same as Resvi (a name that folks may have come across on other sites). Both are different ways of ‘anglicizing’ the Korean characters. Also, I believe I’ve seen both for the same items on the various sites.

Halljackey arena or stadium ?

Have seen a lot of arena or sport stadium´s. Most by DmScopio but this one isn´t one of them. Some sliding roof construction it be a stadium probably. Do have a extended list of Halljackey plugins upto 2021 but sorting out any one, specialy if it doesn´t come up in search results like !

Hope anyone know the name of this arean or stadium !
