The one problem with transparency within SimCity 4 is that automata doesn't appear under a single plane of transparency. If I can overcome these issues I would revive this project, but every time it's the factor that makes this project fail time and time again... T21 was implemented and failed with transparency, 3ds files are buggy as hell...

Easy stallion, working on pictures and sorting BATs out. I kind of have a whole scenes folder to get through.

Welcome to the development thread of the Irish recreation project! We are a team that are focused on the modelling of the culture and architecture of Ireland, both of the Republic and Northern Ireland. Ireland is a mixture of many various architectural styles and stylistic features. The mixture of our violent history has led to an interesting development of the eras of our existence. From stone age through the Georgian & Victorian to the modern day, Ireland has seen a wide variety of influences from the Celts, the Vikings, Normans and English. Because there is a lack of such architecture in SimCity 4 that is specific to Ireland, this project was founded. Uploaded: <snip> Members: <to come> _________________________ Reserved

Guess who's back modelling Irish buildings? I'm very proud to present to all of you the first Luas GLR station for Simtropolis which was based on Milltown Luas stop on the Green Line. Luas stations are very simple and contain a variety of objects for easy embarking and disembarking, perfect for suburban GLR stops for SimCity 4 to feed into your elevated rail or subway network for the inner-city. I plan on modelling more Dublin and Cork buildings throughout the year, excuse my lack of uploads; I've been busy with my engineering degree Dependencies: None! Note that there's a custom icon instead of the usual grey background, it's the Luas logo in the Miscellaneous section Up next? Pearse Station, Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, or more Luas stops (Harcourt/Ranelagh/Charlemount). Comment below with your preference! ~ Ed ~ -

What's more important is the speed of your CPU. You can have the most powerful graphics card possible, but it's meaningless in most circumstances for SimCity 4 since the game which game out in 2003 doesn't utilize the full power of a non-integrated GPU. Get an average graphics card and a CPU that can be clocked to >4GHz for smooth playing

It's strange to see the buildings I see everyday become so vivid under timelapse conditions; I really don't take enough time to appreciate my surroundings Gives me ideas for some BATing!

While searching for videos on YouTube I came across this, I thought it was really cool and was such a beautiful video! I live in Dublin and thought it really captures the architecture and vibrancy quite well.

This is a remake of the Dublin Spire by Glenni. Since his was 4 times larger than it actually is, I made it to its realistic size The landmark stands on O' Connell street among the old buildings and picturesque statues in Dublin, Ireland. The Spire of Dublin, officially titled the "Monument of Light", or "An Túr Solais", is a large, stainless steel, pin-like monument 121.2 metres (398 ft) in height, located on the site of the former Nelson's Pillar on O'Connell Street in Dublin, Ireland. It was erected in 2003 to replace the previous location of Nelson's pillar, which was blown up by the IRA in 1966. It has since won many awards for design. The lot is 1x1 and in HD.
