The bottom left one appears to be the Cobb Altura Tower

The slightly greenish one in the background is PDA Washington Tower.

The one to the right is hard to tell... might be PDA One International Trade Center.

The tallest, slightly flared one is NDEX PanPacific Building.

Well done ! Skyscraper's not my specialty, yet often some are created by the same creator or have certain way points like profile or textures !

In that screenshot is a combination of lots including:

  • Paeng's Parks 205
  • Paeng's Bikepaths
  • Paeng's Sandstone Booster (for the lots with the Fences) & Paeng's Nightowl Extenders:
  • My Filler Set v2

All of which are using custom grass and sidewalk textures.

The Sandstone Booster / Bikepath Extenders and Park Path Extenders are all being overridden by optional overrides, included in my Diagonal Filler Set package. Those in turn are also using overrides from both my SWN and TGN mods.

The point here being, that the Plaza textures by default would be the Maxis Sidewalks, it's just that the aforementioned SWN mod changes them on these packages to my custom ones. In that screenshot is a combination of both custom sidewalks (SWN) and grassess (TGN), neither of which have been publicly released. But those two mods do a lot more than simply what you see in the screenshot. Installing SWN will alter all sidewalks in your game and many lots, those using the Maxis textures mainly. TGN does a similar job for grass textures. Both of these mods also expand to game transport networks, to unify the Sidewalks and Grasses together. In short, whilst you could make them work simply for these pieces, by design, these mods are comprehensive overrides that do a lot more.

I can make a quick preview version of the Sidewalk Mod, but I don't know if I intend to release the grasses as shown, at least not yet. It's a small part of a very complex upgrade to the TGN mods that won't happen in the next release of that mod. Alternately, if it's just the plaza textures themselves you are after, I could easily make them into unique lot textures for you. Provided you don't mind doing some work in the Lot Editor to make them work. However, that's not ideal, since we're talking a lot of pieces. But moreover, many of these pieces are intended to show the installed sidewalk, which having altered them, they would no longer do.

As you've probably grasped, it's a little bit complex, but if there is anything that isn't clear, feel free to ask.

rsc204: Ok, reading over your post, I get it now. More importantly, I really don't want you to do extra work anyway for some specific pieces... all the moreso if it's stuff that hasn't been released yet. I am looking at your SWN and TGN mods and like the idea of doing a more total conversion for my next city so I'll save them for that. It's really pretty stuff. Also if I may say so, the diagonal fillers are absolutely something I didn't have and didn't know I needed, bless you for those.

I remember seeing a mod that created a visual construction effect when you build ploppables, but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what it is called?

This might look a little vague. I've got two icons in my landmark menu for ploppable lots with huge brown boxes. Clearly missing something. As far as I can tell they use the SHK parking pack but unsure of the lot sizes due to the box. Anyone recognize these icons and what lot they belong to?

The tall building and the building in the right side are creations by Jsteed, they are all private japanese content. They were created a lot of years ago... the train station I am not sure, but I think... mmm it should be somewhere in the STEX...

How do you mean private? They haven't been released, or were they released on japanese sites?

@kschmidt My point exactly. I selected both and the brown box takes up most of the lot so I can't tell what size it is and the query is the same as the description. One is a restaurant and the other is an industrial lot. I will certainly check the LEX for that industrial one, just wish I had some clue as to what they are or who made these.

Ready to upload some relots, and I cannot find the original of that one for the deps list. I have it as NDEX-ITS Modern Glassroof Station. I certainly downloaded it from SimCity kurier (the files have German names) but I don't speak German and don't know how to do a search on that website. Can't find it in Catty-b's repertories either. Help ?

PEG No brown boxes may help as this mod shows little more about the error, where in the BAT !

We are looking for a long lost dependency. It's for @mrbisonm's Nexis Country Church and the Nexis-Readme.txt says this about it:

That site, however, has gone by the wayside. *:(

 

@EduTC has done some research and believes it is a small fence as pictured from the original screenshot:

We don't know the exact file name which will make it more difficult for searching your plugins, but hopefully someone will know and can attach it here. With this one being nowhere to be found (based on Googling) we would like to host the file on the STEX in good faith on behalf of the original creator.

Let me know if you have more information for finding the Zaunset or attach it here if you have it.

Honestly, given the obscurity of the prop, how generic a fence is and the wealth of alternate options to use instead. Personally I'd just recommend removing it in the Lot Editor and replacing it with another fence. Maybe you get lucky and someone has the file, but I think that's very unlikely in this case.

That's prolly going to be the way it needs to happen and @mrbisonm has offered to do just that if the person looking really, really wants a fence. The other option is to use the church without the fence appearing since it looks good that way.

Yep. That's the plan. We have peeps here who've collected CC since day one and it's quite possible (IMO) someone will have this. The chance of finding it is greatly improved by asking. *;)

Great, fortunaly these graveyard site's save the best material for those lost or closed gone website maxis games and custom lots for a wide range of sim games like SIms 1,2,3 and SC 2000 3K ! Asian, Japanese aswell European site's it good to save those treasures in the community so maybe recovered; also have a look at the rest of the archive site for different custom lots as these are aswell interesting !
