Unfortunately, the lot does in fact reference a non-existent model, either not included by the content creator, or existing in some other unknown content.  The content creator last visited the site in 2015, so getting an answer about what model was used, or where to find it, is not very likely.

I agree that there probably are some storage tank models that would meet the size and shape of what you're looking for.  The biggest problem will be that they will look like what they are, industrial storage tanks, and not what the lot supposedly represents - storage tanks from the end of the 19th century, that have been re-purposed into housing.

Hello Can any one tell me how can i delete this arrow marked box from lot. I have deleted all the props,base texture.overlay texture etc. but i can't find any option to delete this things. I also don't understand what these things are?? pls help bcoz without removing this things i cant save the lot in lot editor.

You can't remove the red arrows (the Transit enabling) in LotEditor. You need to download and install the SC4Tool tool, from here:

After installation you might have some problems to get it to work, but there are several threads around here, what to do. It depends on the OS, that you're using.

It's not that easy. You can't save any lots without base textures in Lot Editor, however you can do that with PIM-X.

After installing the SC4 Tool, you need to set the launcher exe to run under administrator mode and with Win XP SP3 compatibility (right click on the exe, properties, than choose the second tab -compatibilty options, i think - in the pop-up window . I would recommend to patch the same exe with the 4GB patch to run smoothly on a machine with more then 4GB RAM. You will find that patch under the NAM Auxilliary (???) Tools folder into you documents SimCity 4 folder. But yes, you can change the transit enable units or delete them with the SC4 Tool.

I searched SimCityPolska but couldn't find the small corner building, sadly, many of the images from their exchange were affected by the photobucket debacle. I found a couple of interesting substitutes though, so it was well worth the search.

Sory to hear the Photobucket bug got to SimCity Polska ! Navigating east european alien languages is a task on it´s own; watch the direction of the mouse pointer as you go over the links in the bottom left lke the category´s. All category´s are designated in a pre and postwar era so choosig the first in the coreect may present you what your´r looking for as those are less colosoal in size. As I am working on my ANNO Eurpe project probably making a special UserDir I suggest you too make a plugin folder with all available Polsh BAT of SimCity Polska´s so you can find what your´re looking for, probably it´s a w2w building or rmedium residential ! Simtropolis also got some SimCity Polska stuff, Ferox w2w, corner and Jasoncw !

Questions about MMPs

 

I need the following MMPs for my CJ. I am curious if there are any:

 

-train wrecks mmp

-car wrecks mmp

-plane wrecks mpp

-roof junk: like AC units, small vent pipes mmp

-helicopter mmp

-decals mmp - like the ones in cities skylines: lines, signs, numbers, road cracks, asphalt patches

-landing lights mmp

^^^ There was a car wreck in one of VIP Team’s car packs, which were released also as MMPs. I think it was in the first one (the prop was created by vnaoned)

About the rest of the stuff you’re asking for, I thought about Tabi’s helicopters, but his site is apparently down, and they were just props, not MMPs.

There’s a shipwreck MMP pack here, but it’s just the only wrecked vehicle you aren’t asking for... *:D

Hi!

I'm about to remake my plugin folder (and also fighting with recol.e and started to browse through the Hide and Seek japanese (?) page and I ran into a few people's work, which I'm not sure if those are available anywhere anymore. For Example this station and the creator's other works:

Komnaz_SK - Yakuga Station

Or are NOB's uploads available anywhere for download, because his site is no longer existing either? I know in this case at least we have some of his props over at LEX in prop packs, but is how about the lots?

And how is about Caribou's other works, which were lost after his/her site went down? There were a few rail station as i remember among other stuffs... Could someone bring those things here onto STEX?

Hello, well if anyone in the community got a complete plugin directory ofl japanese and or NOB files I would be a delighted. Tariely got some texture with her parks but most of it probably lost as who makes a good backup yesterday.? Simtropolis or anyone has no rights to distribute these outside official channels unless we declare for restoration, that when a source is dead or unavailable one may freely share these !

Well either found links for NOB and ´Caribou on above asian site´s are hard to access, preserving on a onedrive and linking from simtropolis seem most obvious as there no legal issue to who is the providing the files, if it be those foreign language sites for the timebeing or a more secure source the user will prefer the later Preserving beyond these known is a community effort searching and cataloging flles found in old plugin folder´s specialy NOB´s bat´s textures and model files, anyone who played a asian or japanese game to do !

with the current technology, completely impossible. Eventually, it will become a thing, by developing a means to detect which dependencies your configuration requires. For now, the only way is checking the dependencies of every file and installing them one by one. It's the price to pay for shiny little things on your game...

It's not just impossible (well the only impossible thing - almost - to find all the dependencies which has been ever made), but totally unnecessary. I mean there are a bunch of lots which wouldn't use anything and you would impact your computer a folder with full of data about 8-10 GB. Plus, according to current community policies wouldn't be allowed such a thing, but the bigest problem would be the incompatibility of each mods with other mods. Just  an example: there is a prop pack called NDEX MegaProp Pack Glenni vol. 1. It's a very usufull dependency pack however it's conflicting with CAL SG Canals in a way. The canal set is using a propfamily which has same family range than a few norvegien houses in Glenni's prop pack. And this is just one of the "known" problems. There could be several unknow incompatibility issues. So eventually Matias is right - it's impossible...

Hi, I'm looking for a mod which allows you to plop speed limit signs straight onto the road (not poles). I used to have this, stupidly cleaned out my plugin folder and now can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help? :???:

Sadly this is extremely unlikely, the technology exists to do this, but there are many barriers to implementing such a system. The main problem being 15 years of legacy content that would need indexing and a hell of a lot of work by expert coders to implement a workable system. Frankly it's pie in the sky thinking at best, even if it would be a great thing to accomplish, I suspect the opportunity to do this has long since passed.

Only such thing I know of is part of a Japanese Street mod, but it's not the most user friendly thing to install. Not to mention, it contains a lot more than simply speed signs.

Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Thanks. I'll have a look at the Japanese Street Mod but don't think it's that one. I could scream as it went into my trash and then deleted. Perhaps the download is defunct now.

Yes, where the road shows 05. Except they were in white and would show 20/40/50 kph. What is the mod that you have? And thank you very much for helping me.

That's the Japanese mod I linked too, it could be that white markings were an option, but I'm pretty sure no kph was listed upon them. I've not come across such things other than as part of that mod, but that doesn't mean there weren't others. Hopefully someone else will come along who can help further.

BTW, does the JSM accept different sidewalk mods? And how modular it is? My ideal would be to use only the electric poles and cables

Clayhurst - Expansion pack !

Some missing plop_5x3_jb_univ_business_func sample file in all lot files missing searching with SC4 tool, nowhere to be found. Basic Clayhurst showing all. Bus stop and extension files missing new dormintory . Basic Clayhurst works fine, if one of the academy is build reopen additional buildings like Hellcrest, Gym Hall, Campus church and powerhouse. Why, what ?
