I'd really like to know what the slightly curved building with the ocean blue glass is. It is really nice.

Ok I am missing a specific texture that for the life of me I cannot find for Bipin's urban fire station. I have all listed dependencies yet this shows up:

588b737cac50e_Downtown-Sep.2803148553391

As you can see, I get the default maxis high wealth texture. Where can I get the concrete texture? Thanks in advance.

Well, the lot actually references the default maxis white medium wealth texture. So it won't do any good downloading any dependencies

If you have basic knowledge with the LotEditor, you can easily change the texture yourself. I believe the correct one should have ID: 0x25fb1000

Oh. Yeah, I have no idea how to use lot editor. I guess I could play around with it and learn.

You don't have to. They can co-exist, but only the new version will have the concrete base texture

You should play with it and learn as much as you can because it's really not hard and it's well worth it!  There are great tutorials here on the omnibus to get started with the basics if you feel like stepping the game up a bit:

https://community.simtropolis.com/omnibus/simcity-4/batlot-editor-tutorials/

I'm still learning about it myself but I'm glad I took that first step (with a prod from some very helpful people) to just give it a try.  Even if you don't create your own lots you can still do great things with it.  You'll be amazed at what doors it opens and help is always a single post away!  Give it a shot.  At worst and like everything else here, you can simply not use it if you find you're not comfortable with it but, if you're not completely opposed to checking it out then you definitely should ;)

Whilst the image shows a concrete texture, the one on the lot itself (the Maxis sidewalks) is not the same texture in the image. Probably that's a in-development shot, but that concrete looks like an unreleased custom texture to me. Either way, I guess that's resolved now.

However, you are missing the SHK Parking Pack, specifically the file SHK_ParkingTextures_02_Overlays_White (or Yellow), the pack includes two choices, you can install either colour. It looks like you've installed the main dependency file from that set, but forgotten/missed the overlays.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

I'm sorry Korver, I meant to refer to the other building on the right (two-toned brown/tan building).  Any help with that one?

Hi everyone, I am looking for a kind of Maxis tree blocker. You know, those trees happen to grow automatically over time, I would like to stop that. I have searched a little, but found nothing. Any ideas? If not, I can create such blocker myself.

If I'm not confused, the only maxis trees that grow over time are the MMPs and the god mode trees; for the MMPs you can simply install more MMP trees and stop using Maxis', and for god mode trees you would need to install a new tree controller mod. In both cases, there is a huge variety to choose from, and it will mostly depend on the geographical environment your region has, so defining that would be a good starting point.

If you're looking to just replace the Maxis trees with much, much nicer ones, this mod from @Magneto is fabulous.

Thanks, I am not looking for a replacement nor for a new tree controller. I think I would have to create my own tree controller to satisfy my wishes. I just want to make those trees go away. Regarding this, I have just remembered that every single custom made tree controller includes some exemplars that disable Maxis' god mode trees from growing. Probably I have to open Reader now ...

Thanks anyway :)

While attempting to re-load a City in Simcity 4 Deluxe, I got a Warning Message telling me that I am missing four Plugin Packs: 2051942634, 15150971698, 1169887080, and 1514273973. I have not gotten this from any other city in the same Region.  I have queried on Google, in Sim Devotion and here at Simtropolis. .  I tried "Plugin Pack xxx", I tried just the number, and I tried generic "Plugin Pack." The GUI has an ACCEPT button but the game just sits there after pushing said button. How does one search for objects like this?

There is a list of Catalogue-IDs here. But you have to convert the decimal code into hexadecimal code first.

Myself and @twalsh102 have been discussing these lists and the picture catalog here

https://community.simtropolis.com/clubs/26-city-builders-website/catalog

with a view of including prop information possibly in a different format to what's currently on CB, if anyone is interested in that and is a member over at CB and wants access to the topic let me know.

I used the normal Maxis light concrete texture on the lot I gave to RRetail based on the fact I discovered that Bipin had used the same on his ServiceStations.
Later discoveries has revealed there is a similar texture in SHK Parking Pack <- may be higher quality if you want to fix the lot for yourself and care about such

I believe those were never finished for a release, at least not the HK Exchange Square

You have probably stumbled upon some showcasing by their creator
