About a year ago, I saw this cool weather mod with rain and other cool effects. All eye candy, of course, but I remember it looking really cool but it would burst my computer into flames if I installed it. Was it even a real mod or just a cool mockup video?

That is a real mod You can add more celestial and water effects, too.

Does anyone know if these where released?, and if so where to find them?.

*snip*

Alas, Delecto has not (yet) released those.

I think you are talking about the JENX Weather Mod.

Edit - nevermind. Vortext beat me to it.  :)

Anyone know where I can find this Tabi Hangar Props ?

The site it was on is defunct and I haven't been able to locate it anywhere else, if you do a search here

https://community.simtropolis.com/clubs/26-city-builders-website/catalog

for Tabi plugins it brings up a couple of pages, but unfortunately most of them seem to be for particular planes.

Also something to be aware for anybody else that uses the catalog, I have been moving things around so all of the catalog should now be public access, that means that when you click on the CATALOG button its just an alphabetically list of all the plugin links available regardless of the site its on, but click on any of the drop down menus underneath it and everything the site holds for a exchange (unfortunately not in alphabetically order ... maybe one day in a site upgrade that will be possible) will show up, or you can go straight to something

https://community.simtropolis.com/clubs/26-city-builders-website/catalog/simtropolis-links

Also the lists at the bottom of the site page are also public access, so you can either click on them in the site itself or if you know the link you can just do this

https://community.simtropolis.com/clubs/26-city-builders-website/catalog/38-dependency

They now only cover popular lists by month and year, the weekly one got replaced by the tetris game (registered users only).

Years ago when I first started modding SC4 I downloaded a pond/fountain pack. I think it was directly off of EA'S SC4 site but can't remember for sure. It was pretty much just water tiles and water jets shooting up, no structures. Lost it when I had to reinstall the game after switching computer. Sorry I have no pictures. Any help would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know who made the actual buildings (not lots) for all the restaurants like Sonic, McDonalds, Taco Bell and so on? I'd post an image but I can't find a way to upload images here and Imageshack changed its policies...

EDIT: I may have fixed the restaurants, but that still doesn't solve all my other problems. Pictures pending, if I can find somewhere to upload them...

Started playing again after a long hiatus and I used to have a nice set of under water flora mm ploppables. I suspect that they were Gizmo's but, his website appears to be gone. Anyone know where I can find them? I'm also looking for a set of trees that I think are Cycledogg but, could be Jeronij, that come with several different types of forests you can "brush" that act like God Mode tree controllers but, are accessible in mayor mode.

Hello !!

I just downloaded runamuck's shoreline mod because the sand on the slopes did not seem realistic at all, but I was wondering if there was other mods around for the same effect.

I found this pictures using google image :

The shores look very good but the terrain (with some rocks showing through) looks gorgeous too. Could someone tell me what are the mods used there ?

Thank you in advance.

Looking For:

Plopable parking lots that do not have any dependencies .

I have found 3 different parking lot mods - all of them have a VERY long list of dependencies.

 Thank you for your time.

Edit: Something like this -

I remember seeing an interesting road junction at one point, where one lane splits in two and has like a D1 folded section leading to another road. I'm just wondering where I may find it.

Can confirm the rock mod indeed comes from Ennedi's second set.  The shore is created using MMP ("mayor mode ploppable") mods.  Search the exchanges for "MMP".  These can take a lot of time to place since they are plopped one small piece at a time.

I think it would be in your best interest to accept the fact that if you want quality SC4 content, you'll also need dependencies.

That said, try this one:

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try then. (yeah, for the shore it would take too much time.).

That is the first parking lot mod that I have seen that does not require a huge number of dependencies - thanks.

Hey does anyone have a link to the mods from Simcity.com (Like Grand Central Station, etc.), I recently bought Sim City 4 on Steam (Cause I hadn't played it in a while and I lost my copy) and want to find that website that had all the mods. I'm also amazed the modding community is still up despite the fact the game is over 10 years old (probably because no game is more superior than Sim City 4, maybe Cities XL, but even that is still lacking in some stuff)

There are several sites around that have those files, this one requires an account, but you can use your facebook, google or twitter login instead

https://community.simtropolis.com/clubs/26-city-builders-website/cbex

It also has a number of plugin lists if you are looking for dependencies, etc
