I have CpT's Olympic terrain Mod, Peg's water mod, The black sand beach mod, SFBT street tree mod, and the Cascadia tree controller. All work fine together. I downloaded the LK Tuning Parameters Seasonal Cp Olympic Dat that allows the trees to change with the season but only effect the controller plopped trees in God Mode. Is there a way to have all the trees, including the SFBT street trees, change with the seasons without conflicting these mods?

 

Tree controllers use flora, while the SFBT street tree mod uses props. Technically flora and props are different exemplar types and their timing mechanism are vastly different as well. So, the good news is there's no conflict between the tuning parameters file and the SFBT tree props. The bad news is that the tree props won't be seasonal unless someone (re)makes the street tree mod with seasonal props.

I remember seeing an interesting road junction at one point, where one lane splits in two and has like a D1 folded section leading to another road. I'm just wondering where I may find it.

 

No ideas anyone?

 

It was in someone's CJ recently and I can't seem to find it again.

 

A sketch or some sort of illustration would be useful. 

 

That said, it's likely just a RHW-2 ramp piece that you saw. There's a bunch of nifty new intersection pieces included in NAM 32

Hi guys...

 

I am now searhing for canals...

 

I know there are lots of diferent canal sets around, but which ones are the more complete (classy town centers, downtown, industrial, agricultural, locks, bridges, omg it's an endless list...) ??? The ones that have the most addons ??

 

Could someone make me a fast comparative of what is available out there ??

 

Or maybe there's already a good topic about it all ?  :???:

Hello one and all. I was wondering if their was a mod that edited the demand cap so that skyscrapers/apartment complexes and office towers would be built early on in  the game. Thank and I hoped you all had a good Christmas! 

 

Try  you use CAM. Many skyscrapers come with a plopable version nowadays so that is probably the easiest method to get them early. Some may also have a low growth stage (eg 2 or 3), and for those that don't, the growth stage can be easily changed.

 

Hi all. ive seen stricttoasters youtube videos in the series he make of simcity 4 in them he has alot of rail tracks to use more than there is in the game it self so i gues it is a mod. i allready got the newest nam mod but the tracks he uses in the videos is not in that one. so my questions do any know the mod he uses or can you recommend a mod that gives a good selection of rail tracks to plot.

I myself have started watching strictoaster's series but am not far (only like pt 6). I am not exactly sure what you are talking about, but it could be the RRW (i think its called - Railway Realism Mod). The RRW is an optional component of the NAM, so make sure you use the custom installation to find it. If that is not it, could you post a pic or a link to the video and the time you see it.

Based on your illustration, it looks like you want something like this:

I am looking for a mod or a setting that makes the FLUP underpasses match the sidewalk. When i do it it makes that specific [part of the sidewalk white and it looks weird.

You may want to check out Sim City Polska (Polish-language site) or SimCityKurier (German-lang site) for the style of buildings you want, both of which you should be able to download without registering and navigate fairly easy with the Chrome translator. It looks like you are aiming for W2W buildings (wall-to-wall), so searching that on the STEX will go a good ways too. It is very likely that you will not find exactly the Dutch/Swiss/Scandanavian architecture, but you are sure to find many close replacements.

I am trying to download a bat called Grande Gare 2voies and I cannot locate the following dependency file:

RRSP_Props.dat

 

Anyone would know about this one? I tried the SC4D dependency list and the Toutsimcity site and google, but was unsuccessful.

Try a power search on SC4D for marcszar. He has some NYC housing projects that look similar. Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for though.

jmdude: I know,for a first try i already used marczar NYC projects buildings.The only downside is that these buildings are way too tall.They would be more suitable for the towering projects in Stuyvesant Town which are slightly taller.

 

 

iirc there're some buildings from NDEX (maybe Dusktrooper?) which would fit the bill quite nicely but I can't find them atm ('view other files from this member' function is just horribly broken  >.< ). Though not diagonal maybe something from Don Miguel could make shift, Warren Arms and Woodbridge Court in particular. edit: searching some more I guess it were I was thinking of, which are probably still too tall.

And because it was bothering me to no end I actually looked up old pictures and it were I was thinking off Hotwheeler, the smallest has 8 floors and with some creative lotting you could probably get more or less the same lay-out.
