Hey guys, I'm building a city that's essentially eye candy but with functioning buildings/public transport etc, and I've hit a demand cap with my jobs - obviously, because I'm not building enough Commercial buildings there aren't enough jobs and the city just won't grow. I seem to remember there being a lot that had like, literally millions of jobs a few years back, and it helped with the demand for jobs freeing up a lot of space for me. I know it's strictly speaking a cheat, but frankly I don't care as it's mostly for eye candy. Can anyone help?

Hi everyone!

I've been looking for a dry/arid/highland/mountain style terrain mod and still haven't found one that suits my project. Any suggestions? The closest I've come to finding a good one has been the Grand Canyon terrain mod, although it's "too red" for what I'm trying to do and it adds vegetation at higher altitudes, which is the opposite of what I want.

Best bet is to go with Mrtnlrn's Light replacement mod ← ... But be warned: it is huge, so read instructions carefully.

(On a side note: changing the size of the text when you post your request is not needed.. it will not give you a faster response)

@ matheuspaulo: You might want to take your problem to the bugs/technical issues section of the forums. I've used Peg's no rail dirt mod just fine toghether with many different sidewalk mods.

I'm looking for a grungy subway station suitable for a dirty industrial area. Something that can preferably match with the Civil Grunge Sidewalk mod or the industrial texture base used in the rural freight station by Paeng.

Also, speaking of industrials, I'm looking for large growables for my Ind-D and Ind-M areas.

For large growable Industry, try some of fukuda's downloads. You won't be able to find it from a search for some reason, so you will need to go through his {profile} (click on the tab called "Files"). Some of the stuff that don't show up there can be found by searching for "HIDP" on the STEX. I don't know about the subway stations though...

Hey I'm looking for a 3 maxis track station, where the lines can go through on both sides.

The Maxis Grand Train Station has been modded to provide what you ask for (and can also be made to have lower requirements). You can find it {here}. Another is the {Cincinnati Union Terminal}, and the {Simtropolis Train Station}, both of which can be built without waiting for some reward condition to be met. If you want something more rural, you could download the Marrast {2x6} and {1x6} station and put them together to make a 3x6 station.

Thank you, I will definitely look into that light replacement mod. And to clarify, I did not increase the text size of my request in order to get "a faster response", I did it to aid my ailing eyesight. Not everyone can have 20/20 vision.

Ah, my sincere appology. Not my intention to mock you. I to have some ailing eyesight. However, since increased text size may be an eyesore for others, a tip I use is to; hold down 'ctrl' on your keyboard, the click on the '+' sign. This will zoom your browser inwards..

Ok, I just ran into a problem...I plopped one building where the BAT is slightly overhanging and then another building next to it, and as tends to happen with such BATs, the first building disappeared and left a messed-up empty lot. Normally this wouldn't be much of a problem, as I could just drag streets throughout that lot and demolish them to remove it, but this is the first time this has happened to me with a ploppable lot, and because it's ploppable, I can't drag streets in it. I remember seeing a lot/BAT on the LEX that was designed to remove such lots, but I don't remember the term that the uploader used to describe these lots, so I don't know what to search for. Can someone please tell me what it's called?

Theres sth called Inmortality killer (I never used)

What I do is: Put a RHW starter piece on the inmortal lot, put more than one if it's needed to cover all.

Destroy and... voila!! The inmortal lot gets destroyed.

Gwail has a lot of bus models. Glenni also has a couple, including a bus prop pack
