"A scene depicting a once bustling city center covered in overgrowth after it was reclaimed by nature. 30 years ago all of humanity was destroyed, leaving behind their many creations and constructions to slowly rot.

I won't bother running through the list of things that have been done to this scene because I'd be sitting here all day! Instead, here's a "Before" picture."

Portrait of a Chemical Plant – @Takingyouthere

"An aerial view of one of the largest(and most detested) industrial facilities in the region of Pretoria, the Apotex petrochemical refinery. The idea behind the image was to 'uglify' the plant as much as possible while still making it look cool/interesting.

The first step was to stitch together 6 individual images of the facility at zoom level 4. After completing the mosaic, some minor photoshopping of vehicles and shadows was done. Next the image was modified with a rather peculiar filter and then it was mirrored. Following that I adjusted the hue, saturation, contrast and brightness levels. Lastly the image format & resolution were reduced to fit within the 2mb limit while maintaining as much detail as possible."

"Located in the Andalusia region of Spain, the mountaintop city of Ronda is split in two by the 390 foot deep El Tajo canyon. Connecting the two sides of the old town is the breathtaking Puente Nuevo (New Bridge) - completed in 1793, to this day it remains one of the world's most iconic bridges."

SM2 cnut Grain Shipping – @Simmer2

"Just like its namesake, it is a grain shipping facility. Farmers bring their grains, (wheat, barley, corn, oats and so on), on trucks which are then weighted on drive on scales. Grains are then vacuumed from the open trucks and are sorted and stored in their appropriate silos.

Grains are then pumped into specially made train cars and shipped to mills where they are turned into flour, corn starch, cereals etc.

This lot will also allow passenger trains to go through it so you will see both type of trains traverse it."

Whoops, sorry about that! I've fixed it.

Don't worry, the correct prizes were given as per the spreadsheet. It's just the post here which I somehow mixed up.
