Would it be possible to make the elevation for contour lines editable? They're currently at 128m apart which isn't very useful. I know there was discussion about it years ago and it was determined it was not possible, but I was hoping with the new advances in modding it might be possible now. An old 2017 thread on the topic. Thanks!

After a long time away and some lurking here and there I finally got back into city building. It was good to catch up on people's work in this thread. @ByeByeBayou I love the aesthetic of your city, it inspired some of my waterfronts. My latest project was to clean up a lot of areas I have previously neglected. Here is a canal that I had left undeveloped for the longest time, finally happy with the outcome. Unfortunately I didn't take any before pictures. I present the city of King Harbour.

How Do I Make Single Tile Residential Develop?
antsel replied to stormlover's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I'm going to assume you're talking about 1x1 residential lots. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it has to do with growth stage, and that the game doesn't have any 1x1 residential lots at growth stage 1. So you have to develop the city a little before the 1x1 residentials can grow. -
I was wondering why the highest rated image only had a 3.6, especially with the amount of great entries. Thank you to the admins for noticing and suspending the voting in order to resolve the issue.

Ardmore Falls National Park is situated on the south coast of the Isle of Lethaon. Featuring the tallest cliffs in all of the Star Isles at over 350 vertical meters, the climbing centre at Ardmore Falls attracts climbers from all over the world. At the top of the mountain adrenaline junkies can bungee jump from the rope bridge over the rushing mountain river. Camping, fishing, climbing and more, Ardmore Falls National Park is the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

You can find the MMP path set here.

Hey! I'm still working out the kinks on the lots as I use them and see what needs improvement. As a clubhouse lot, I was thinking of releasing a relot of the Maxis Country Club reward, or were you thinking of something different?

Practicing with the BAT, I'm working on an outdoor climbing centre. That belayer looks too casual. I'm not sure I would trust him belaying for me...

@korverYour MMP work is stunning as always.

I made some tee marker MMPs to plop on tee boxes and pin flag MMPs to plop on greens. My local golf club back home would mark tees with blue, white, and red markers so I only batted blue, white, and red markers. Same with the flags, my local club marked holes at the front of the green with red flags, holes mid-green with white flags, and holes at the back of the green with blue flags, so I only batted blue white and red flags. My BAT skills aren't that great so the models aren't that great. What do you guys think? I'm also willing to add more colours if people have preferences. I'm open to comments and suggestions. Also, if anyone knows how to make MMPs so that the model orientation changes with every click please do let me know! Right now it seems like orientation is random, and multiple clicks only places multiple models rather than changing the orientation. It's frustrating when the tee markers are plopped 90 degrees from the direction I want them to face, only having to bulldoze, re-plop the tee box lot and the tee marker MMP...

Hey! I never noticed your edit until now. The lots are single 1x1 pieces without base textures, originally I had 28 fairway lots and I used the original Maxis greens and tee boxes. Just recently I added a load of new greens and tee boxes in the same puzzle-piece style as the fairways. There are 28 different lots for fairways, 24 different lots for fairways meeting the greens, 14 different lots for greens alone, and 10 different tee box lots. I'm still testing all the textures and lots to make sure they work perfectly and I want to BAT some tee box markers and pin flags to be able to plop as MMPs, but I'm pretty rubbish with the BAT. Anyway, here is how my project is progressing... When I plan my golf course, I first zone I-Ag to get the layout right. Then I go over with the puzzle pieces, it never ends up 100% the way I layed it out initially but it's close. Place the cart path before adding flora. Then add the finishing touches with MMPs.
