To everyone who creates content for our cities, THANK YOU!   I came across these links to "models" of mansions.  Have these been released OR is there someone who can turn these, or mansions similar to these, into BATS to have more diverse mansions in our cities?  Your consideration is appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

I don't think my 4-Hour railing job was worth it.

As a BATter, I know this feeling all too well *

Honestly, I think it works though. I see what you're saying, but I still think it looks pretty good. The middle rail sells it for me.

It should be something you can fix in the S3D, I'd have to look up the settings, but each Material (Texture) has transparency settings. It may be you need to add a base layer to the bridge, like concrete or some such, so that any transparency on the edges of the RRW Texture isn't leading to actual holes. If you have such a layer, maybe it's Alpha settings are not correct, it's a complex area.

Additionally, did you perhaps use a Puzzle Piece Road Viaduct piece here?, the one with the white sidewalks? That's an easy enough fix to get your sidewalk on there if so. Just that the PP textures have different IDs from the later Flex ones.

For this railing I was just working with the existing 90009 texture that the model calls for, I am not sure I know how to go further than that.  It is actually nice (makes it easier) that it is all done with one single texture although I see how it limits things - there is only one railing area to the texture and it's applied to both sides - if there were two railing areas then the near side could get a bit of very neutral fill that might now really ruin the railing effect and leave the far side to look good.

I have a few other things I'm going to try, texture wise, including a corrugated steel upper over a short concrete base that I also see on real bridges.  I have a design that is using just one railing but I agree with @IDS2 that it is the middle railing which actually makes even having a railing worthwhile!

I did manage to get a railing that I liked to work on the HRW bridge although it lacks the middle railing.  I made about 20 more prototypes for this modification but these 3 are the only ones I feel have any merit.  The railing one kind of came out by accident but I think it could work.

I really wanted to make this one representative of a viaduct type being used on the new HS2 line in the UK but you only have 27 pixels max to get under-girder and the concrete upper and lower sections to fit in.

And then I kind of like this just solid, very modern concrete design which might be representative of the concrete cross-section bridges and viaducts being built everywhere these days.

My personal choice would be the modern concrete railing -- for what it's worth.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Fixing roof-texture asymmetries which were apparent in the images, and yet somehow I had missed! Am I working too much?

The current heatwave in Europe is forcing me to find an indoor activity—good reason to further expand my Plantation Bay region.

Here an overview of the existing tile; the expansion is planned for the southwest.

I´m not sure if I´ll keep the avenues or downgrade these to roads in the beginning. Next will be adding the 1st residential areas, most likely at the northern coastline using the s-bent road as main connection, surrounded by big farms next to the rail line.

Later expanding the transport networks and zoning a 2nd res area surrounding the southern bay.

Region view, I marked the new tile:

Hi, made this fun little project where you can view a huge collage of the city and navigate it freely to see it up close.

Here's the link: https://saustartar.vercel.app/

It's a collage of 30 to 40 zoom-5 images and it'll take a moment for the image to load since it's >100MB.
Also, I got the inspiration from the Isometric NYC made by @ _coehen

Enjoy!
