In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Ok, I swear this is the last one before I'm actually done. I'm just happy because it took a long time before the texturing actually looked right on this one.

3x3 intersection:

I think I've got everything done, except a 4x3 intersection and an intersection with a diagonal runway. Once that and some work on overlay textures is done (you can see some slight coloration difference on the stop line), I just need to make the actual lots.

...and figure out how to make icons so that the lots actually look good in the menu. One step at a time I suppose.

Check out some of the new images I've added to my Flight Simulator album! So many cool cities, buildings, and landmarks I've seen over the past few months in this game.

Is this an actual city builder, or just a FS?

A Flight Simulator. The cities were rasterised from Bing Maps, and some buildings that weren't revised manually got converted into generic office blocks:

Me playing around with REW and MHO for the first time.611ca1f633d25_PlamForest-Mar.32871629266125.jpg.9c9e042f92c04f9bf43fd0d84e6a1c44.jpg

I know its messy but it will be bulldozed anyway; I was happy with the result and I can't wait to overcomplicate my cities with them*:P

Yes - and a lot of third party stuff has turned the game into a bit of a looker. While it doesn't have that sandbox city-building experience, the idea of just real life cities looking that good with a game is something I can use for when I play SC4 or Cities Skylines in terms of looking at road layouts and stuff.
