Budapest Keleti (eastern) railway station (Hungarian: Keleti pályaudvar) is the main international and inter-city railway terminal in Budapest, Hungary. The building was designed in eclectic style by Gyula Rochlitz and János Feketeházy and constructed between 1881 and 1884. The main façade is adorned with two statues depicting James Watt and George Stephenson. Inside the station are frescos by Karoly Lotz.

Wooow, thank you soo much! I love this building, I can't even count how many times I have got on trains in this termini in the past 37 years. Since I spent my whole childhood and partially my adulthood in Budapest, I used this station so many times, when I was travelling to the university or visited my family at the countryside.

Absolutely stunning station! The capacity is just right and it just looks so gorgeous. The only thing that would be nice is for it to have a subway connection, or to have –like the real station– a sort of companion subway station to put in front. But it's 5/5 stars for me.

Beautiful work, just wow, I live 150km (2 hours) from Budapest but visited only once, great BAT to remind me how our central european cities even towns are magnificent... thanks man
